In the effort of the competition, the White Star Line came up with an idea of creating a massive, luxurious ship that would later be given the name “The Royal Mail Steamer Titanic,” or “Titanic” for short and as it is well known today. The main goal of this ship was to establish a primary ship for the traveling to and from the United States in an extravagant style for the most well-paying passengers among their cruise line. This was made known to the public through the pride the Titanic had earned it’s fleet, for it was the largest moving man made object ever recorded before the year 1912 (“Titanic's Safety Features”). She, the Titanic, was measured to be eight-hundred and eighty-two feet and nine inches just in length, ninety-two feet and six inches in width (or beam) of the ship, and one-hundred and seventy-five feet tall with nine decks on the ship (Source 9). This massive ship was created in just two years, starting in 1909 and finishing in 1911, making it possible for her to make her maiden and final voyage in 1912, give or take a year for test runs and sea trials in Ireland. From there, the design was a perfect one that would win the White Star Line their battle against Cunard, or so they

Titanic: The Unsinkable Ship, is a tragic story we all know well. Ironically enough, as you know, the Titanic (the unsinkable ship) sank; however, the lost and lived lives of the people aboard the tremendous ship when it sank are, sadly, stories we do not know. All of them , rich and poor, were in the same boat, literally, when it crashed into that murderous glacier. However, is the gun the murderer if a man pulled its trigger and the bullet found its awesomely sweet embrace in the chest of another. What I mean is, the death of 1,503 souls could have been saved if pride would have been set aside and warnings heeded. One of the souls lost was Sydney Samuel Jackson, a lawyer originally from south Africa who was on a trip to Montreal with his wife, and her mother and sisters .

Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater – For movie buffs in the 1990s, when you heard someone talking about “Jack and Rose,” you would probably think Titanic. You would think about the Love and Mystery, Excitement and Suspense. You might hear comments like: “What a great movie” or “Oh, it’s just a movie… It wasn’t really that bad.” The latter people would be correct: it was worse. The Titanic was so much more than a movie could ever depict. Death, destruction, terror, sadness: those were the emotions for the people aboard the Titanic. The disaster that is Titanic could have easily been avoided, and the needless loss of life would have been spared, if just minor changes in planning were taken heed of at the beginning of the voyage.

What caused the“unsinkable” R.M.S Titanic to capsize down to the depths of the North Atlantic Ocean and kill an abundant number of people? The “ R.M.S Titanic” sank due to an assortment of obstacles; however, it can be narrowed down to a few critical things. The survival of people was based on availability of lifeboats and wealth class. Mr Joseph Bruce Ismay was a wealthy businessman who built ships. Mr. Ismay made it away from this tragedy because of his wealth. An iceberg along with the crew’s ignorance and unreadiness caused the R.M.S Titanic to sink to the depths; however, Mr. Ismay along with other wealthy people along with some poor made it out alive.
