To What Extent Is Macbeth A Moral Play

Is Macbeth a moral play? Tough question isn’t it? It all depends on the type of mentality you have or the way you take things. In my opinion this is definitely a moral play. The reason for this is because at the end of the play everybody and I mean everybody learns a lesson. The lesson is that ambition may seem all nice at the beginning but later on karma will bite back.
Macbeth killed the king to become king, but when the witches had said that Banquo’s kids will also be kings Macbeth got jealous and became a traitor. As soon as he killed Duncan he felt good but later started going crazy having hallucinations making him look dumb in front of guests.
