Toni Michele Braxton was born on October 7, 1967, in Severn, Maryland to parents Michael and Evelyn Braxton. The eldest of six siblings, Toni was raised in a strict Pentecostal home. She is most known as an American R&B singer-songwriter. Her other credits include pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist.
At an early age, Toni musical talent was restricted to singing in the church. After graduating from high school, she aspired to become a music teacher. But, that ambition was guided down a different path after songwriter Bill Pettaway heard her singing at a gas station. Pettaway helped Braxton secure a record deal with Arista Records.

We moved to Texas in 1998 and in 2006, Hurricane Rita prompted us relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina. We have lived in New Bern since 2008. Fantasia and her family traveled from city to city to perform and record gospel music. Music played a huge part in Fantasia Barrino family life. Majority of the family members sang gospel music as well as soul music. She attended Andrews High School during her teenage years. LTC Moore was the commander of the First Battalion of the Seventh Cavalry, that was the first to engage the enemy in a major conflict. The book does an excellent job illustrating his steadfast courage under fire, and sound use of tactics. He concentrated his limited man power, artillery, and air support; exactly where the enemy would attack.
