The toy I have chosen is “Lego Duplo Deluxe Box of Fun” for children aged two to five years, which include miniature figures, window and door elements, wagon base, numbered bricks and a wide selection of classic Lego Duplo bricks. Duplo is product range of the construction toy Lego, designed for children aged one and a half to five years old. Duplo bricks are twice the length, height and width of traditional Lego bricks, making them easier to handle and less likely to be swallowed by younger children. Despite their size, they are still compatible with traditional Lego bricks and offer endless possibilities of creative play. The reason I have chosen Lego Duplo Box is not only because of its play value but also because Duplo is a learning toy. Among other things, it helps children to learn many important concepts like sizes, colours, shapes, introduces mathematical concepts, counting matching and sorting. Encourages inventiveness, problem solving, originality, decision making, concentration but also, which in my opinion is the most important of all, gives children the feeling of satisfaction and achievement.
