Christmas time has lots of different meanings to people. During Christmas, I choose to focus on the gift Jesus has given us. By fulfilling the prophecies such as his birth and death,Jesus has given us the greatest gift of all.
Jesus emerges as a figure of great authorative power due to being the Son of God. His teachings were seen as revolutionary and with his power, he is allowed to perform various miracles and have many Jewish leaders question everything that they knew about their religion. Since he knew he would only be here for a short time, he came off as very urgent and maybe even impatient with many individuals, including his own disciples. He was a man who had a mission and was preparing to sacrifice his life for it. This all culminates in a humble, yet passionate leader who tries to instill everything he believes in into every individual he encounters, even if it at times lacks complete warmth that one may attribute to Jesus of
there is plenty of evidence in the Bible Jesus nature as both fully human and fully divine. As mentioned in the previous paragraph Jesus is confirmed to be human because of his display of human emotions his human birth and death and also his human needs and form full stop Jesus is confirmed to be divine because of his title of Lord and the fact that he is the son of God is conception to the Virgin Mary also confirmed his divinity. this belief truly originated at the council of nicaea. The nicene Creed devised here mentions Jesus as the son of God and as Lord confirming his divinity. it also tells us how the son of god came down to earth and was made man. When Christian's say this at mass they are being taught about Jesus' dual nature. Catholics
Transcendentalism is a movement that developed in the early 1800s in America. Transcendentalism taught that individuals and nature alike were purely good at heart, but they had been corrupted by society. They believed that each individual has unprecedented power when completely reliant on themselves. This is completely and utterly contradictory to what the Bible says. The Bible states that everyone is corrupted by sin and needs Jesus to be saved from that sin. In addition, the Bible tells us that we must be dependent on God and that we ourselves cannot achieve anything without Him. Therefore, I believe that transcendentalism is completely ruled out by the Bible in many ways.
Transcendentalism is the idea that our spirits have deep connection with nature. Our ideas go beyond the natural world as we see it. Transcendentalism is a philosophy about self reliance, and individuality. We are more into nature and our mood is more pictured by Nature. When I think about failures and achievements I can always base it off transcendentalism.
John nine verses one through seven is the being of the grace giving and truth telling of Jesus in this section. When Jesus spoke with the man that was blind I believe he ministered to him and gave him a brief explanation of who he was. The disciples asked him if this man sinned from birth or did his parents sin? Jesus used the truth telling when he answered the disciples by saying this man didn't sin at birth and neither has his parents sinned. It also gives truth-telling by letting the disciples know that it was to give God the glory. Now for the grace-giving part of Jesus, is him giving the Blind man back his sight. The reason why this was grace-giving was because this man had been blind his whole life, but when he came in contact with Jesus, he showed him grace by healing him.
With the Pope’s latest publication there has been an increase in media coverage and interest with Christianity and environmentalism, but this is far from the first time these two subjects have crossed paths. When it comes to looking for examples of earlier “eco-theologists” several can be found in the american writing movement known as transcendentalism. This was an example of environmentalists and Christianity clashing. The transcendentalists were one of the earliest groups of environmentalists in the united states. The philosophical movement often challenged the teachings of the church and lead many to question Christianity. The leader of this movement, Ralph Waldo Emerson, went to school to become a preacher but ended up dismissing the Church
Did you know that Jesus was hiding inside of that Ram when Abraham slaughtered it on the alter? God Himself had prepared this supplying and it materialized at the specific second it was essential. What took place in this trade is that God obligated Himself to perform what He had promised by way of the obedience of a gentleman. From this level on Jesus in human form is essential to carry forth the deliverance of our species from mortality. PS, He obtained the task carried out. This brings us to the on earth ministry of Jesus in human type.
I was first introduced to Jesus Christ through several Korean missionaries from America, who came to my orphanage in Russia one day. A bright green church, which is my favorite color to this day, was implanted right behind my orphanage and the people of the church went around inviting and encouraging people to join them on Sunday mornings. We were told there would be donuts and other food. Of course that would lure any orphan right off the bat. I among other children, joined the church on Sunday mornings. Maybe it was simply the donuts, but I felt accepted right away. Although I was very fond of the things we were told and taught, they appeared to be only stories to me. The stories did not become an entity or reached my heart until after I got adopted into a Christian family three years later.
The story of Jesus' life is described and depicted in each of the four Gospels in the Bible. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are also known as the synoptic books, which means see things the same. There are some beliefs that Mark was written as a summary of the book of Matthew, but more scholars actually believe now that Mark was the first of the Gospels to be written. The book of Mark paints a vivid picture of Jesus' life, and all that he carried out on earth. Many examples of Jesus healing, forgiving and teaching are given throughout the book.
On September 8, 2015, I have decided to interview my cousin Sally Chia about her relationship with Jesus. My cousin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is 28 years old. She currently lives in Las Vegas and works as a pharmacist. I chose to interview her because I figured she had a close relationship with Jesus. This is because when I was growing up she was the one who taught me about Jesus and his teachings. I have known my cousin Sally all my life, which is for about 14 years. During the interview I asked questions about her own personal relationship with God, and she answered my questions with great answers.
The Gospels of Jesus tell a story that is a unified story over the four gospels. Each of the four writers had their own point of view that they were writing from. Just a four journalists covering an important story will write from their own point of view

Throughout the history of mankind, there have been many great men who have left an impact on today’s world. Some of these men may have changed a certain system was run or established a better community for other people. While doing these things is certainly commendable, there is one man who stands above the rest. This man is unique in every way from His conception to His death. In addition, this man made astonishing claims and performed many great miracles. While there were many that embraced this man, there were many that called him foolish and a sinner. This man was Jesus Christ. Through the use of Old Testament prophets, various New Testament testimonies, and certain divine attributes, it is proven that Jesus Christ is unique in that He and God are one.
Throughout the book of John, Jesus did many signs and miracles. Through these signs, Jesus attempted to show both the multitudes as well as his disciples one small truth about Him—His is God. In this gospel, Jesus goes toe-to-toe with many of the Jewish spiritual leaders (i.e., Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes, etc.) in order to show the people who He truly is. Scholars disagree with how many Messianic signs Jesus performed, but one thing remains—every single sign pointed back to the fact that Jesus was who He claimed to be. The signs performed by Jesus show both the Israelites of old, as well as the people of today, that He is, indeed, God.
