Going to a new place can be scary and exciting, while visiting relatives can be familiar and . Traveling has many effects overall The point is the sky is the limit; traveling gives personal insight into the world beyond the bedroom window; it gives us a license to become a citizen of the world.
First, traveling is the world’s piggy bank. In the year 2015 a total of 650.8 billion dollars was spent by domestic and international travelers on leisure ("U.S. Travel Answer Sheet"). For example, the money spent on those amazing adventures available. Like scuba diving, parasailing, and even trying new foods. A burger for example will cost more in a different location then it might at home. The cost of living plays into how much should be saved, depending on the destination. Likewise, the economy worldwide profits from all the traveling that goes on. The tax revenue for 2015 was 147.9 billion dollars ("U.S. Travel Answer Sheet"). Thus proving traveling is encouraged and a great way to spend without feeling guilty. Furthermore, it helps build jobs! 15.1 million to be exact in the year 2015 ("U.S. Travel Answer Sheet"). How wonderful it is to be helping the world especially those third world countries. Tourism is encouraged and it is providing profit for the world instead of just one country. What a great way to add points to a world citizen license.
