The word “Christian” in Colorado Christian University is more than just a belief shared amongst the Faculty and Student Body. It is the foundation on which all aspects of the educational experience are built. Beginning with a strong Statement of Faith, which aligns with core beliefs of the National Association of Evangelicals, the University proclaims its belief “in the Bible as being the only authoritative Word of God, that God exists in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as well as belief in the salvation and resurrection that is only found in Christ Jesus” (Statement of Faith at Colorado Christian University, n.d.).

In regards to competing on analytics, Archbishop Wood High School has a solid base in the analytics field of competition. Our school possesses several key characteristics and values that fall within the four pillars of analytical competition. As it currently stands, Archbishop Wood possesses characteristics in three of the four pillars, although with varying levels of degree and progress. Of the four pillars, Archbishop Wood High School has following characteristics: the support of a strategic, distinctive capability, an enterprise level approach to analytics, and senior management commitment to analytics (Davenport 34). I have wanted a college education for many years, but haven’t known where to begin. Once I looked into Christian Colorado University (CCU) I knew I wanted to attend. I want to be a part of a community where I can earn an education while being able to share my faith in God with other students. I feel that being accepted into Christian Colorado University would be the first step in advancing my education, and my faith. I would like to be able to be a part of a university that allows me to learn academically, and strengthen my relationship with God. Overall, many experiences in my life have changed me. However, the miracles in which I witnessed at IHOP, has given me stronger faith. Now I am finally ready to begin my college education. I think attending a school where I can connect with others in terms of faith would be a blessing. I look forward to this journey and opportunity at CCU. I plan on pursuing Theology as a Major. My experience at IHOP led me to want to learn more about God. I have the confidence I need, the spirit of the Lord living within me, and I know that with God the impossible doesn’t exist. Thank you, Erika

While fully committed to the vision and mission of Chi Alpha, it has become apparent that the traditional ministry framework is become inefficient within the urban university context and has become obsolete in the community college systems. At the same time, the fastest growing part of university culture in American is the urban university. In fact, 41 percent of all undergraduate college students in the United States today attend community colleges (National Center for Education Statistics, 2018), while 75 percent of all college students graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Texas are former community college students (National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, 2017). Recently, Chi Alpha
Attending Colorado Christian University not only will assist me in obtaining a higher education but learning to share my religion with others. I look forward to applying my beliefs to my profession. I am hoping that CCU will be able to assist me with this. On more than one occasion, there have been moments where I have hesitated encouraging a patient to pray or have faith. If my patients are able to see what religion has done for me I hope that they can strive for what I have. Prayer has done wonders for my life. I am aware that not all prayers are answered the way we want them to be but other times prayers are answered for more than we asked for. God always works in mysterious ways. My mother has always told me that God has placed a bright light in me that was meant to shine. I strive for others to see my bright light and spark a curiosity for what I have. Being a Christian nurse is the perfect opportunity to educate about God. My patients are often vulnerable and looking for something. God would be great filler for whatever these patients are looking for. I am sure that CCU gets students everyday striving for a higher education and a better idea of what God has to
