David Leon Riley was pulled over by a police officer for a driving a vehicle with expired license tags. The police officer who initially stopped Riley discovered that his driver’s license had also been suspended. Following department procedures, the police officer then continued to impound his vehicle. Before the car was impounded, the police officers are required to do an inventory of all of the components of the vehicle to prevent being liable for any missing items after the car is recovered, as well as, to discover any illegal or dangerous items. During the vehicle search, officers found two handguns under the hood of Riley’s vehicle and then proceeded to arrest Riley for the possession of firearms. When the arresting officer conducted a person’s search of Riley, it was found that Riley had a cell phone in his pocket. The cell phone was taken by police and taken back to the station where an analyst discovered data on Riley’s cell phone that was ultimately used to tie Riley to a drive-by shooting that had occurred a few weeks earlier. Based on the pictures and video recovered by the detective analyst specializing in gangs, and ballistics tests conducted on the two hand guns found in Riley’s vehicle, the state of California charged Riley in connection with the shooting. The arresting officer accessed data stored on Riley’s cell phone and noticed a repeated term associated with a street gang.

It sounds to me that the police and lawyers involved are not doing their job to the fullest extent. No one even check anything about the phone booth that Adnan said he called Jay on. Sarah checked with anyone that would have been in contact with installing and taking down the phone but no one had any records of it's existence.

The police report ((Crash Report Number/Agency Case Number 16-238828) (Report Date 9/6/2016) has numerous inconsistencies and beginning with the license plate. The police report stated that my dad’s license plate was a “Veteran Plate” when in fact it was a “Patriot” plate depicting an American Bald Eagle, the New Mexico flag, and the U.S. flag. The second contradiction was the color of my father 2014 Kia Sedona, which in the report stated that it was “Silver”, the true color of the van is “Silverstone Beige”. The van was more beige than
Reported gun shots by neighbors call the police department, distance between homes prevent further investigation, the police responded, although could not pinpoint where the shots originated. Another flow of calls reported when neighbors heard a third shot fired; Terry didn’t kill himself right away, he sits in a black swivel desk chair situated in a recess of the living room, staring at Pam’s dead body. Afterward a few more shots of whiskey, smoking a cigarette, and I conceive after a great raft of thought, he kneeled down beside Pamela and shot himself in the head. Belongings collected, along with blood
A Field Training Officer (FTO), Rutledge (Author), is on patrol with a patrol officer. He has to type his first police report and is not doing a good job. His officer was disappointed at what he had read in his report; he’s going to show the rookie how it’s done. The officer’s report was not only 50% longer, but full of jargon. The rookie cop stated, “Why do we write like that?” “Because that’s the way we’ve always done it,” replied the officer. After years of being a cop and writing real police reports, Rutledge became a prosecutor. After numerous trails, Rutledge was still boggled at the way police reports were written. So he decided to ask
Everyone knows that Kate and Jon Gosselin can't seem to get along. They share children, but the two hardly even speak now. Jon has revealed that he doesn't even get to see all of his children and never knows which ones are going to show up when it is time for him to get the kids. In Touch Weekly shared that Kate Gosselin has actually called the police on Jon three times saying that she thought he was using his DJ business as a front to sell drugs. If this is true, it would explain why being a DJ was enough money for Jon. It doesn't sound like Kate has any kind of proof that he is a drug dealer, though.
Crime is not an easy concept to define and is very problematic. The two proposed definitions offered by Dr. Hutchinson of crime is behavior that violates laws and behavior that violates morality. These two definitions often do not correspond with each other. In the case of behaviors that violate morality, there is not a plaintiff. Examples of behavior that violates morality are white collar crime and prostitution. These crimes usually do not involve victims of any kind but are just simply illegal due to norms and morals of society. Society is also morally opposed to them or does not like the kinds of people who are committing these acts. Law violating crimes usually involve a victim. Usually, this victim brings charges against the accused and
Steel manufacturing has many different processes and can be a very complex to manufacture. Firstly the iron ore needs to be mined out of the ground before steel production can begin. From this process of mining the steel can then start it production process and begin the vital three stages needed to produce steel. Firstly a very intensive heat source needs to be produced to melt the iron ore. After this stage the intensive heat generated in the furnace is used to melt the iron ore. Then at its third stage the molten iron is used to produce steel this process will almost always take place at the same facility because of the intense heating and continuous production line like process.
