Trump: A Criticism Of Bill Clinton

A tragic hero is a person who is adored or praised by the public eye but then chooses an action that eventually leads to his or her’s own destruction. These kind of heroes have been around for an extreme amount of time. A tragic hero is most commonly heard of in a novel or epic, but there have been many historical tragic heroes throughout the real world. Every continent, every country, and even every state has had at least one real life tragic hero in their midst. The United State’s dealt with a tragic hero when they elected former president Bill Clinton into office. Clinton, who use to be known for his intelligence and great speaking abilities, is now known for his scandalous acts in the White House.

Does Donald Trump have what it takes to be the next President of the United States of America? A president is someone that is “elected by the citizens of a republican state to be the head of the state.” Someone that is dedicated to their country, cares about the well-being of the citizens, and makes plans that will improve the country rather than destroy it would be considered as a good President. Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York to Frederick C. Trump and Mary Macleod Trump. He had a privileged childhood being as though his father was a real estate developer who constructed and operated apartments in all parts of New York. In 1968, he graduated from the Wharton School of Finance with a degree in economics. Over the years he built hotels and other establishments that all failed at some point. Donald Trump does not have what it takes to be the next President of the United States of America because he has no political background and he is only focused on how much money the country can gain if it takes away from other countries. Donald has been given everything he owns at other people’s expense.

This year the presidential elections will take place at the beginning of November, and there are lots of people wondering how this is going to end. Some candidates for these presidential elections may not have been the best choice for their respective parties, but the one that really shouts, “I should not be here” is Mr. Donald Trump. His personality and actions are not the correct ones for a president because of his temper and comments against other cultures. On the other hand, we have Mrs. Clinton who is a more competent candidate; she has more experience on the field of politics than Mr. Trump who has none at all, which are the reasons why she is a better choice as a candidate and as president of the U.S.

There are many reasons that Clinton should have been the victorious candidate of the 2016 presidential election. In my mind, these reasons are very apparent.

The second presidential debate demonstrates an indecisive clash between opposite personalities; the rehearsed demeanor of Hillary Clinton juxtaposes the raw audacity of Donald Trump. Despite their dissimilar appearance, the candidates employ like strategies – they deflect accusations and criticize their adversary. Clinton suffers to succeed in this format. Neither knowledge of policy nor experience in office effectively counter accusations against personal character. This observation is nonetheless irreverent. Although Trump dominates the debate format, he alienates the electorate.

In this essay, I will compare and contrast the recent top two candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as it relates to the presidential election, along with my opinion and views regarding what recently took place as of November 8th, 2016. It’s no secret that this election has been the craziest thus far. Not only for the first time has a female candidate made it this far in an election, but we also got to witness the shenanigans that took place leading up to the election, majority of which came from our very own, Donald Trump.

Republican candidate, George H.W. Bush, had lost the 1992 presidential election to a young Democrat from Arkansas, Bill Clinton. Clinton was somewhat of a dark horse candidate. He survived a giant sex scandal during his election, however, a third party run by Ross Perot split the vote and in 1993, Clinton was inaugurated. Clinton's foreign policy agenda, included the Oslo Accords between Israel and the PLO and NATO action in the Balkans. Successes and failures of the Clinton presidency included the failed attempt at health care reform, the very horrible attempt on LGBT issues, mixed feelings on the welfare reform and the more uplifting issues such as the huge improvements made in the economy. This presidential election is gearing up to be one of the most if not the most interesting, and strange presidential election in the history of the United States of America. In addition, both Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton are not very loved by the American people. Many individuals feel as if Clinton is a rotten liar and should be in federal prison, and on the other hand many Americans are scared of trump and his ideologies. Sadly, one of them will win the race to the White House, unless something shady occurs. Nevertheless, candidates always make mistakes during their campaigns; sometimes costly mistakes. Though many political scientists have been in favor of Clinton winning this election, there four costly mistakes she can make that can cost her the election. As a matter of fact, she’s currently makes those mistakes.

In November 2016, Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. With a campaign centered around otherization and nationalism, the atmosphere of this election, as well as the attitudes of the citizens of the country, bears similarities to 1930s Nazi Germany. While it may initially seem far-fetched to compare Donald Trump 's election to Adolf Hitler 's rise to power, both campaigns utilize nationalistic, racist sentiment and a fear of the "foreign other" to gain power within the country. Will Donald Trump fulfill America’s request and actually “make America great again”? When friends of mine who are Trump supporters inform me that they support him, I don’t understand the reasons why they picture him as our future president of the united states. Donald Trump has never been an elected official. He has never been elected into an office of any kind. He’s never had to broker political compromise or gave any political speeches prior to him running for president. With no experience in politics at all, why would people think he’d make a good president? Sure, Donald Trump is a barefaced self-promoter and experienced businessman. But people don’t realize all of the mistakes he has made as a businessman. Washington, D.C., is not a type of Wall Street or anything for him to lose money or make some reckless decisions that would put our country into a deeper hole that we are already into, and also getting multiple things done within the nation’s capital takes more than a huge personality and a strong will. If Donald Trump is elected to be our president, he’ll have to quickly learn how to deal with his Democratic associates in the House of Representatives and Senate. He’ll also have to get used to the pace of government because there are moments when things can accelerate pretty quickly and also where things can move extremely slow at times. He’ll also have to get used to giving speeches on topics he may not be interested in, especially when it comes to conversations

Clinton impressed people with the idea of a family man in office. He was focused and charismatic. Better economy was what the American people wanted so that is what his goal was. During his reign he went through more scandals and controversies than any other president. He was impeached, yet despite all, he was loved by America. Our economy prospered and we had better diplomatic relations. The American people wanted change for the better and so they elected William Jefferson Clinton for their forty-second president of the United States of America.
