Tupac Shakur’s death was an event everyone mourned and questioned. This hip-pop legend was taken so suddenly and mysteriously. No one exactly knows why this rap genius was taken from us and it is still yet to be figured out today. What made this shooting so different from others? Why couldn’t we solve it? These questions still race through people’s minds and always will. Although some believe many reasons why Shakur was shot such as by a rapper he disses in one of his songs, many believe Sug Knight shot shakur. Shakur was on his way home from a boxing match when a white Cadillac approached his vehicle firing 14 shots, and 1 puncturing his lung. The action is still yet to be solved 20 years later but the mystery will always remain. The shooting was known to be done by a “ Crip “ gang member though. While many believe multiple theories the case still remains unsolved. There are numerous thoughts and assumptions of this murder but one seems to be more known than others. Many believe the shooting was committed by Sug Knight. Shakur was previously involved with and left Death Records in which Knight was involved with. Knight was known for his violence and harsh ways towards enemies and people who have done him wrong. In this case Shakur was an enemy, which gave all the reasons for this action. That is why Knight is known to be one of the largest suspects. Knight was known for his many crimes and misdemeanors. Even though Knight was in the car with Shakur during the shooting, it is said that Knight set up the crime. Apparently Knight had owed Shakur 3 million dollars. And it is also said Death Records could bring in profit from all of Shakurs unreleased tracks considering they owned them.
