Turning work in on time is a skill that is helpful throughout life. For example, college applications, bills, and taxes are some responsibilities that need to be turned in on time and working on this skill during school can make life easier. If I could teach elementary school students one lesson, I would teach them the importance of turning work in on time as it can help them improve organizational skills, decrease their stress, and raise their grades. Organization is extremely important in school and turning in work on time can make organizing easier. When work is turned in, there is more space in a binder to keep important notes. You can stop worrying about missing work, because if there isn’t any, there isn’t anything to worry about. Sometimes, when teachers tell the class that the grades need to be turned in soon, I can see my classmates start to stress because they have piles of missing work that they haven’t even started. Also, Students don’t want to wake up and finish homework in the morning. If teachers give students less homework they will not have to do that and be late for school. Students sometimes wake up late and are in a rush while also knowing
