The “We Are All Confident Idiots”, written by David Dunning, talks about human beings who often overestimate their knowledge of certain topics, and claim knowledge most confidently could be those who understand the least. He also discuss the difference between true wisdom and knowledge. For example, when beginners start learning some knowledge about a subject, like Physics, they tend to think they learn quickly and know a lot about that subject after only learned some basic concepts. However, along with the learning curve, they will then realize that there is a great amount of knowledge to explore and stay humble. It’s pretty common to everyone, especially when we say Math is as easy as “1+1=2”, before we touch the real high level Math. Therefore, what matters is not uninformed, but misinform or ignorance.

Samuel Johnson once wrote, "Ignorance, when voluntary, is criminal." In my eyes, he was very much correct. I say this because I see ignorance as being nothing more than a choice. A lack of knowledge or information is the denotation of the word ignorance, but that's not ignorance to me. To me ignorance is willingly doing something that is genuinely wrong and being aware of it. Being closed minded is a choice, and if you decide to be prejudice, to judge before learning, to be racist, to be sexist, homophobic, or bigoted against or for religion or a religion, you need to review your morals and opinions. The large majority of people go about their daily lives blissfully ignorant, thinking that they know far more than they actually do. Yet, once perserverance takes the lead and those challenges are no longer looked at as road-blocks of life-struggles but pit-stops of life-lessons, we will find ourselves in the midst of personal growth: physically, mentally, spiritually, religiously...whatever way it may be, we are exposed to a mature perspective that can not be found in movies, tv shows, or novels, but found in the perks

The ignorance of the topic of another belief is limiting because this shows one opinion is ignored by another, which gives a negative impact of not listening to their opinions. As in the town of Hillsboro, people are limited to what is right to think, they are forced to believe in one religion and to listen to one's opinion. This is very limiting because it causes an ignorance among people not listening to their own ideas giving a negative impact. In the town, people only believe in the Bible and listen to one person who has the control. This causes a conflict because if all the people listen and follow the person who has power. First, I’d like to start with a disclaimer that I am not basing my arguments purely on opinion. Ignorance is the action of willfully ignoring veracity. If innocence can be learned, then ignorance could be taught. In that case the teacher is gradually eradicating the once innocent of their innocence.

In my opinion, Ignorance isn't Bliss because it does not make people happy .There's nothing good about living a life where you are ignorant to the things around you. People are living empty lives and they don't even know the purpose of it. Ignorant people don't know the world around them, they don't know what makes them happy or sad, they don't know and don't care about it. To me ignorance means, someone who lacks knowledge and judges something before they know anything about it.
