The blame game we have all played it before, “Mom! Stacy hit me” “Well Jessica told me to,” and so on until someone else gets the punishment while playing the world's most messed up game of hot potato. In some cases you blame them in a hope that the punishment will be lessened overall. In certain moments the blame is necessary maybe you were framed or falsely accused, but it's not always that simple sometimes, to find who started the problem you have go back and look at the start of it and in Romeo, and Juliet there is one man who caused all the main problems, and his name is Tybalt. You can argue that it was Romeo or Juliet for marrying in such a hurry, and I can agree with you, you can blame the Prince for banishing Romeo and in some degree i can agree with you, but after I explain to you why Tybalt is the main person who started all of these problems you will agree without a shadow of doubt that Tybalt is nothing but a dirty troublemaker who’s hot headed mistakes will result in the …show more content…
Fetch me my rapier, boy.” as you can clearly he was ready to kill someone based off of their voice, do you know how crazy you have to be to even consider that!? Tybalt's extreme temper will be a main driving force to all of the problems that he will cause if he would have died from falling the story would have been happy ever after, but instead because of him we get the teenage equivalent of Hamlet. Some of his other character flaws are shown by study.com as they said “We can accurately describe the skilled swordsman as a tough, cocky and aggressive character who is always looking for a fight.” most of as know that if you keep looking for a fight you are going to find one and that's exactly what
The Tragic Story of the death of two teen star crossed lovers. Romeo and Juliet are two teens in love who are put death by nothing but their fate and their long lasting family feud. Even though Romeo and Juliet committed suicide, their untimely deaths are ultimately caused by Fate and the feud.
In The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt was the enforcer of the story and always tried to stir up more chaos in the feud between the Montagues and Capulets. An example of this can be found in Act 1, when the Capulet’s party is going on, when Tybalt senses Romeo, he ends up getting very defensive and angry, “This, by his voice, should be a Montague, / Fetch me my rapier, boy. . . Now, by the stock and honor of my kin, / To strike him dead I hold it not a sin” (5.52-57). Tybalt’s quick and unthoughtful actions make him a hot-headed character who is very easy to dislike. With Tybalt’s previous actions, the story leaned toward the idea that he was going to cause a damaging and lethal event to happen, which he indeed did. After spotting Romeo at the Capulet party, Tybalt felt disrespected and was livid, due to this, he challenged Romeo to a duel. When they both meet up on the street, Romeo attempts to make peace with Tybalt and to end all disagreements between the two. However, Tybalt is there to cause drama and he declines, stating that Romeo’s request “shall not excuse the injuries / that thou hast done to me” (3.1.61-62). Tybalt’s rejection of Romeo’s request led to his own death as well as Mercutio’s. Another consequence of these actions was Romeo’s banishment from Verona, which ended up
In the play of “Romeo and Juliet”, by William Shakespeare, Tybalt is to blame for their deaths, because he killed Mercutio, Romeo's friend, leading to his banishment and Juliet misery/desperation causing her to fall into a deep sleep. Mercutio's death from Tybalt, only resulted from Tybalt provoking and insulting Romeo. As a friend Mercutio defended Romeo but in the end payed the price with his life. Shakespeare suggests that, “My very friend, hath got his mortal hurt In my behalf. My reputation stain'd With Tybalt’s slander”(Act 3, Scene 1,line 105).
In Act 4 scene 1, Tybalt and Mercutio had a fight, and that fight lead us to a part of why Romeo and Juliet are dead and but my client Tybalt didn’t tell Mercutio to fight him, Romeo and Mercutio were throwing jokes to him and that's why Tybalt got mad. Tybalt didn’t want to fight with Mercutio and we can see that by this line that Tybalt said before the fight started, it was “What wouldst thou have with me?” (3,1,71,71) this shows that Tybalt didn’t start the fight, and he asked Mercutio that what was his problem with him, and Mercutio started to make fun of Tybalt and Mercutio was waiting for Tybalt to get mad and have the opportunity to fight him
If Tybalt had never killed Romeo's friend, he would of been alive today and Romeo would never have been banished. Tybalt killed Romeo's friend, making Romeo mad, and that made Romeo kill Tybalt, and him doing that made Romeo get banished. Tybalt is to blame for R+J death because he started the fight and got Romeo banished, and so he could never see Juliet. The reason Tybalt is to blame is because he made Romeo mad and that killed him, but there is more to it.
Firstly, Tybalt’s attribute of being quick tempered is shown even before the author reveals the main characters of the play. In the first scene Tybalt says “ What, drawn and talk of peace? I hate the word As I hate hell, and all Montegues, and thee. Have at thee coward!” (Act 1 Scene 1 Line 65-67). Tybalt says that he hates the word peace showing that from the beginning of the play Tybalt has a chance to avoid fighting but he draws his sword and thrusts at Benvolio (cousin of Romeo). Starting a giant between the two families on the streets of Verona.
In Romeo and Juliet there is a scene where Tybalt was stabbed by a sword and died with this happening, there were many people who could have been held responsible for his death, Romeo, Mercutio, even his own cousin, Juliet. But the people who are actually responsible for his death would be the whole Capulet family including himself. The way his family plays into this is the hatred between the Montagues and Capulets. If Tybalt’s family wouldn’t have raised him to have such dislike for the Montagues then this fight never would have happened and Tybalt wouldn’t have been killed. Tybalt and his family are responsible for his death in many ways, Tybalt had a bad reputation, he would always go around looking for a fight, he hated Romeo and was always bad mouthing everyone, he was overall a hot head.
Tybalt could also be held accountable for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Tybalt's nasty, hot-headed persona caused a lot of strife as he always started brawls and quarrelled with the Montagues. When Tybalt gets in a fight with Mercutio, despite the Prince's orders to
The blame for the person who caused all the deaths is one who dies early in the drama. The deaths were like dominos. When one person dies another will follow because of the other death most times. Tybalt is the person who is to be blamed the most. To begin, If Tybalt did not kill Mercutio, than Tybalt would not of been killed by Romeo who avenged Mercutio's death.
In Romeo and Juliet, he makes many impulsive decisions towards and for other people that lead to him getting kicked out of Verona. In this scene Romeo killed Tybalt on purpose because, Tybalt killed Mercutio. Prince Escalus says “And for that offence immediately we do exile him hence” (3.1.187-88). This quote is saying that for the crime you’ve committed, you must leave now, for good. Lady Capulet orders Prince to kill him, but instead just exiles him.
In the story of Romeo and Juliet Tybalt is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he always wanted to fight the Montague, he killed Mercutio in a fight, lastly he got Romeo banished from Verona. Therefore you should believe it was tybalt, who is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
There were two victims that night in Verona. Where one of the two didn't want to die, but just fight it was karma that got him. All those times he started those fights just because they were Montague. They were both some of the richest folks in Verona who could afford everything, the best doctors and clothing.
The Killer is Him We all know the story of the two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. They both love each other so much that they would take their own lives for one another. Unfortunately, they are not the only people to die. Actually, six people end up dead by the end of the story.
People will blame anyone or anything for their misery sooner than take the responsibility to own it and make it better,” a quote by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, means that instead of bettering their situation, they accuse other people for causing their unfavorable situations. It predominantly relates to the majority of the argument as to those responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death, specifically the couple themselves. They put the blame of not being able to be with each other on their parents’ rivalry and avoid telling them about their marriage, forcing them to act in secret. Juliet, herself, holds Tybalt responsible for Romeo’s banishment that stemmed from Romeo enraged assault on Tybalt after blaming him for Mercutio’s death. To cope with their misery, the lovers both go to Friar Laurence to rant and make excuses about their seemingly dire issues, expecting him to solve their problems.
why I think Romeo was to blame for this mess. Tybalt is the cousin of Juliet and of course Tybalt
