This criticism is made based on generalization, and only conveys a single story. Personally, I decided to apply for the honors program since I possess Type A personality. I am inherently attracted to challenges and adventures, which progressively enhance my self-discovery. I also grew up in a collectivistic culture, therefore, I fully comprehend the importance of standardization and essential disciplines in educational institutions. Additionally, humbleness and selflessness have become indispensable parts of me. Having lived in both collectivistic if and individualistic environments, I am opportunely able to realize my particular abilities and limitations. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Personality (MBTI) was developed by Briggs Myers and her mother Katharine Cook Briggs in 1943 during the onset of World War II (Ham, 2016). Briggs recognized the need for psychological instruments that would value human differences and utilized the C G Jungs theory in creating the MBTI (The Story of Isabel Briggs Myers, n.d). According to The Myers & Briggs Foundation (2014) Myers and Briggs initially tested a group of 20 relatives and friends. They utilized such sample, because they thought they could predict their personality solemnly on observation which by observation. The initial random sample did not truly represent a whole population, but merely were used due to availability.

In the TypeFocus Assessment online worksheet my four-letter personality type was ESFP. This meant that I was friendly and outgoing and I also live for the moment. I am fun to be around, help others enjoy life with taking the best out of some situations, and interested in meeting new people. Making my own rules and bending them are also descriptions of me according to the survey, which I have to agree with. In the interests, it said that I was Realistic, which means I have an athletic or mechanical ability, prefer to work with objects, machines, outdoors, and prefer to work with things other than people. After taking Jung’s typology test I received the personality type INTJ. The introvert score given was a 59 percent, intuitive 16 percent, thinking 25 percent and judging 56 percent. Based on these scores I took a look at what my strengths would be. According to the website used to take the test one strength would be that INTJ’s are perfectionist while some may consider this a bit of a weakness, I don’t think it’s such a bad thing. INTJ see that there is always room to improve and learn more, especially about things that they find interesting. Another strength is having the combination of both imagination and reliability, this is good when it comes to working on projects or coming up with an idea for something, because not only can you envision what it will be but you can decide realistically if it will work. Butt and Heiss (n.d.) say that INTJ’s are also good at seeing opportunities other people may not. The high introvert score indicates I am much better at working alone then with the help of others, and normally working on something until it is completed. When it comes to other strengths, INTJ’s will work extremely hard in relationships and are very good at picking up people’s emotions. This is part of the intuitive dimension. The results of the four personality tests all agree that I value relationships and ideas that can be seen, touched, and felt. I identify strongly with these core characteristics. However, because of the high emotional scores, the tests tend to lean towards a humanitarian personality. While I care about others and do hold convictions on certain matters, the activist theme is not accurate. In my early career, because of my emotional intelligence, I was encouraged to engage in studies involving social work, counseling, and teaching. My first two years of college were focused on education until I realized my brand of emotional intelligence would fit better in a business organization, specifically human resources. The relational and emotional characteristics come from my Type A personality. The need to be accepted by my peers will be an ongoing challenge in my career. I do think relationships are extremely important to achieving goals. I have experienced that it takes time and effort to develop and maintain relationships with my staff, but it has enabled my team to buy-in to our recruitment initiatives.
According to the theory developed by cardiologists Meyer Friedman and Ray Rosenman in 1950s describes individuals belonging to type A / B personality are completely opposite to each other. The theory describes Type B personality, by definition, are noted to live at lower stress levels. They typically work steadily, and enjoy achievement and have a greater tendency to disregard physical or mental stress when they do not achieve. When faced with competition, they may focus less on winning or losing than their Type A counterparts, and more on enjoying the game regardless of result.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss characteristics of my personality. The main focus of this paper will be how my personality has developed over time. As I age and encounter new and different experiences, my personality has adapted and developed further. Domestic work does not receive the same recognition as a “productive” occupation as most other forms of work. Several factors contribute to the devaluation of domestic work. For one, this type of work is performed in a home where work conditions are quite different from those found in other workplaces. Also, because domestic workers tend to work alone, leaving them isolated from other typical workers. More importantly, the economic value of domestic is difficult to determine because there is no commercial output. Domestic work is still viewed as “women’s work”, belonging to the private sphere and not the public sphere. The low status of domestic work in Brazil is a primary example where women make up 94.3 percent of all domestic workers; 61.8 percent of them are Afro-Brazilians and 64 percent have little to no education. Through the analysis of Brazilian policy responses to domestic work, this paper will show that Brazilian laws do not fully address the issues of domestic work, mainly because it does not address the complex makeup of domestic work and workers.
Today in class we discussed Type A Personality. People with Type A personality generally are obsessed with being on time, competitive, impatient, and may be easily angered and hostile. These traits may become dangerous as they can lead to heart problems because of the anger these people possess.

These personality indicators may seem easy to distinguish; however, at times, finding one’s own personality type can be difficult. For some people, they have had prior knowledge or underlying assumptions about their personality, but this test provides clearer information about each of their identifiable traits. According to the MBTI in Human-metric personality test, my scores were 22% (E) extroverted thinking more than introverted, 9% (N) intuitive as oppose to sensing, 16% (T) thinking more than feeling, and 12% (J) judging as compared to perceiving. Thus, my personality type is ENFJ. The ENFJ personality group is described as a minority group that consists of natural-born leaders, and people filled with passion, and charisma for example, Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey; they are notable members of this group, also known as the protagonists (16personalities, 2016). The protagonists apprehend pride in providing guidance for others to improve individually and to improve the community at large (16personalities, 2016). The protagonists find it naturally easy to communicate with others and excel at communicating with other people in person (16personalities, 2016).
