Tyrone and his buddy Daquan were walking down the street one morning. “Hey, Tyrone guess what happened yesterday?” said Daquan “What?” askedTyrone “ I guess Michelle and Michael broke up and she’s looking for a new guy.” said Daquan. “ Do you think I have a shot with her?” asked . “Probably, you got everything she likes.” said Daquan. “ Like what?” said Tyrone.
“ Well first off all you live on Maple Street and in a huge mansion. You 're about 5’2 with blonde hair and blue eyes. You also plays basketball and have hops, your super popular, and very rich. Your parents are a little creepy but she wouldn’t really mind.” said Daquan. Then he thought to himself, but I must also hide my fears around her because it will make Tyrone look strong.
One day when Tyrone was walking home on Maple Street with Daquan he noticed that there was an old white van sitting in front of someone 's house.
“Man, that van is really old.” said Tyrone.
“I know it looks like it was from the 1980’s.” said Daquan.
It looked like it hadn’t moved in ages it had a duct taped bottom and shattered windows and they didn’t really think much about and just kept walking home. The next day after school Tyrone noticed the white van near another house and this time it was closer to my house. Tyrone wondered how in the world did that thing move.
Tyrone decided just to ignore it and move on. The next day after school Tyrone noticed that the white van was sitting at his house he decided to go check
After coming home from teaching, I found Melba coming home with a mysterious car. I had no idea who this car belonged to. I started to question her and panic. I was pacing around the room. I finally found out that this was a white boy’s car who seemed to have saved Melba from a boy named Andy. How are we going to trust a white boy? Who knows, he might have only done this because he wants to accuse us of stealing his car. But then I calmed down because if he had gone to the police, I’m sure someone would have already been here to look for it. I started to question how are we going to get his car back to him without letting anybody see us? He couldn’t be seen in our neighborhood and I wouldn’t dare to be seen in his, especially at night. Melba assured me he would call. We heard the phone ring and Melba rushed to pick it up. After their phone
One of the most important scenes in the story takes place in the vehicle. The grandmother spots an old family graveyard that once belonged to a plantation. She tells the children that the graves
Jane parked Trent’s car and climbed out, taking a moment to look around. It wasn’t the best neighborhood in Lawndale. Not bad by any means, but not as nice as Daria’s. It certainly wasn’t where she expected a fashion princess to live. Stacy’s home was average for the neighborhood, a modest two story house painted a soft blue; it was set apart by a beautifully manicured lawn with flowering bushes lining the front of the house and a pair of small, well groomed trees in the yard. It didn’t suit a fashion princess, but it seemed to suit the girl she’d been getting to know the past week. Jane reminded herself again to try not to freak Stacy out and headed up the walk. She knocked on the door and, after a short wait, a woman who looked to
We Entered the Fully furnished antique home avoiding the broken glass pieces stuck around the perimeter of the window. The wallpaper was peeling and the furniture was eaten up by mice and rats. We walk around the room for five minutes silent until Grayson breaks the silence of course saying “Woah creepy” pointing at the large family portrait with each face smudged out with black ink. “Well let's look around then just leave” I say with Aleisha backing me up. “Nah nah” Grayson alluded in perfect harmony with my brother adding “Leigh Settle its just a house an old house”. “The Pattison Murder house where like everyone in the family was apparently killed by the son” Aleisha interjected. “Key word there, apparently” Grayson laughed rolling his eyes.I let out a slight sigh as I walked down the Hall with Aleisha. The Floors creaked and parts of the ceiling were smothered with Black
“Where have you been?” I hear the second I walk through the front door. My hand slowly crept its way across the wall struggling to find the light switch. I turned it on fully expecting to see my Aunt sitting in the living room with her arms cross and a stern look on her face. Instead, I flick it on to see my cousin standing right beside me with a worried look on her face. “I thought something happened when you didn’t come home. The town is so small you couldn’t possibly get lost. So a kidnapping was the only rational solution,” she blurted.
Cooper & Garner, (2012) speak of the three R’s one of them being a relationship, “trusting relationships between teachers and students prime the brain for learning, activate willingness to cooperate, and encourage excellence” p. 4. Securing relationships with students will allow the classroom to develop and stabilize into a “learning classroom”. As an educator, the focus can then be on facilitating advancement in knowledge. I currently find that the development of a respectful relationship with clinical students and new employees allows the facilitation of a conducive learning environment. Of course as discussed in Cooper & Garner, (2012) I believe that it then leads to a “growth mindset” allowing for a more impactful learning experience.

“Hey.” Oliver’s demeanour eased, a crooked grin coming across his features. “I was wondering where Bailey was going to every day. I’m Oliver Black, I live around the block.” His words were smooth and easygoing, and her face began to heat up as she was just about to introduce herself.
Thomas Lanier Williams, or Tennessee Williams as he was later known, was born on March 26, 1911 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was the second of three children, he had an older sister Rose and a younger brother Dakin, born to Cornelius and Edwina Williams. Because Williams’ father was a traveling shoe salesman for much of his early childhood he and his family lived with his maternal grandparents. However, due to the nature of his grandfather’s work as an Episcopal minister the family moved often; residing in several Mississippi towns during Williams’ first 7 years. During those early years he managed to grow close to his sister Rose and his grandfather. In 1918, Cornelius secured a position at a shoe factory which allowed him to move the family to St. Louis, Missouri. The move was difficult for the family; the marriage between Cornelius and Edwina was described as strained and the Williams children were teased and bullied at their new school. It is at this time when Williams began skipping school and spending much of his time writing.
“I can’t wait for the haunted house adventure in the old mansion near 13 main street!” said Sadie. “I bet it's going to be fun,” said Carter “ But good thing we found this old cabin to stay in while we wait for the rain storm to pass,” said Amos. “I wonder who lives here and why does it smell like dead meat.” voiced Carter. “Who cares who about I just want to know what the owner going to think when he sees three teenagers in his

"Uh, hi, this is going to sound lame and I hate to do this but do you guys have any sugar? I don't need a cup or anything, just enough for a pot of coffee. My brother was over the other day and used the last of it without telling me. I'd walk to the store down the street but, honestly, it's way too early to do that." Darien said. He was fully aware he was rambling but he had barely talked to his neighbors since they moved in so he was nervous. Especially since he spent most of his time in his apartment.

"Ouch!" I say waking up on the carpet floor in Jade's (kinda small) room in Detroit. I get back on the bed and push her off after three tries still half asleep. "Hey! What was that for!" She shouted at me."You pushed me off first," I simply told her. "Come on it's Saturday let's go to Conners house," I called to her running out of her house as if I'm a speed demon. "Slow down!" She called trying to catch up to me, so I stop for a minute. We finally get to conner's house and I knock, Riley (his little brother) answers the door as usual. "Hey, is Conner here?" Jade politely asked him. "Yeah, why?" He asked us. "It's Saturday, why do you think we're here?" I ask back with a light laugh. "Oh yeahhhhh, I thought it was Sunday." He lets us in and
After finishing all her classes on the very first day of her college year, Janet feels overwhelmed and exhausted. During the last class of the day, her stomach growled loudly. I am so hungry, she thought. She wants to go out to eat. However, she does not know the new area well enough to know the best spots to grab a bite to eat. As Janet walks back to her dorm, she is surprised by a familiar face. Jason, an old high school classmate greets her in delight. Jason tells Janet that he is craving Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup.
