Diversity- recognises that all though people have thing in common they are also different in many ways. Diversity therefore consists of visible and non-visible factors which include personal characteristics such as backgrounds culture, by recognising and understanding our individual differences and embracing them we can create a productive environment in which everybody feels valued.

People tend to reject what is different. We must value our diversity in order to work together.

Diversity means different individuals valuing each other regardless of intellect, age, disability race or religion.

Diversity is about difference, and its value is richness and variety that different people bring to society.

What diversity means to me is each and every individual in this world is unique. No one is the same so that’s why learning about new cultures, languages, lifestyles, religion, beliefs and traditions is enjoyable for humans. If everyone were the same, life would be boring. The unique characteristics that people possess can be vastly different. I have an open mind and am willing to be educated by people with different cultures because it gives the opportunity to gain increased knowledge about their lives. Diversity means that people are different and varied. It means that a lot of people

Diversity is what makes you unique, being composed of differing elements. I am someone who is composed of differing elements such as culture, voice, personality, etc.

Diversity refers to the fact that we are all different. Even though people have many things in common diversity recognises that people also have a lot of differences. This can be differences in religion, age, gender, beliefs and many more things we come across in daily life.

Diversity means difference as everyone is very different no one is the same, for example twins may be identical but be totally different and have different interests and different stages off development.

Diversity is to value that we are all unique and yet similar. We have different needs, interests, learning styles, language and personality etc.

Diversity means to value and respect the differences and individuality of people. This means to embrace the differences between people and to treat a person’s race, culture, religious beliefs, age, sexual orientation, gender, physical and mental characteristics etc. with respect.

I think diversity is great for teams and individuals. Most recently, when I began my current job, I went from a suburban environment to an urban environment. Working downtown allows for a more diverse workplace than in the Parma suburbs. I have learned so much from the ladies I work with now and feel like I now take in their experiences and knowledge when making decisions, either personal or work. In the beginning, there was a clash between each other but as we began to know more about and learn from each other, our team effectiveness grew and we became a well-oiled machine.

To conclude diversity is a beautiful and important concept that strengthen our society by allowing us to have different personalities, opinions and experiences that makes us the people we are, providing us opportunities to grow and learn and creating bonds between
