I am attending GCU to improve my education and myself and to achieve my goals for the future.
I started doing my college research back in October, 2017 and it was quit overwhelming. It wasn't easy for me to know where to begin, but my college possible coach helped me through out the process and that made it easier. The first step that I did in doing my college research was, looking for the location of colleges, size, cost and academic programs. When it comes to colleges, the location is really important to me because I really just want to be near home and still be able to live with my mom as the same time. I understand that the surrounding area can have a huge impact on your happiness and how comfortable you would be, so staying close to home would make me happy. When it comes to the size, I prefer smaller college and smaller class

I can see Texas Christian University as a great fit for me because it offers so much for me to grow as a students. I can see myself attending the Academic Services offered by TCU in order for me to become a better students and go for help. At Haverford I would find myself using their academic help services, asking teachers questions and go for extra help. TCU also offers its students a wide variety of major and minors to choose from. Business is an interest of mine and TCU offers a great business program. But if I was not to go down that path TCU would allow me to find a new major or minor to choose.
What really motivated me to enroll at GCU was a couple things. I was in the process of applying to a different college, and something just wasn’t feeling right. The process wasn’t going smooth at all. The enrollment advisor called me numerous time a day and the over the phone interview felt fake. As I got off the phone with her, I thought I would research my degree more. I googled Bachelors in Science with Business Management and Grand Canyon was one of the links. I had taken a previous class long time ago with GCU when I was pursing my BSN. I had remembered that all my previous prerequisites were on file. After more research on GCU another thing that convinced me was no out of state tuition. That is a big perk. Online classes are my only option
During my time at UBC, my rigorous course load along with a number of extracurricular activities have allowed me to enhance my organization and time management skills.
Completing the essay for Unit III will be somewhat of a task now there are requirements to meet, however I complied all the notes to make this first essay successful, now it is time to put it all together. The thought of writing the essay which needs to contain 750- 1000 words brings on anxiety, compared to the smaller journal at this point of the course. Although, the feeling I get from completing any writing assignment makes me feel a great deal of accomplishment. So I’m sure by the end of this course I will be ready for English Composition II. It has always been my nature to

My involvement with NSCS has helped me feel prepared for my future transition from Austin Community College to Texas State University in various ways. By showing me that making connections with others will not only benefit my future in education but also help encourage me to achieve my future career and life goals is what has encouraged me the most in making the transition to a 4-year university. These connections have not only helped me recognize my ability to be academically successful, but has also provided me with the opportunity to be engaged with a group of likeminded students. Due in large part to the encouragement of these students, I, in turn, have begun to feel better prepared to develop stronger leadership skills, make a difference on and off campus, help gain a greater sense of achievement, enjoy a variety of experiences, and work hard to impress graduate schools as well as potential employers.
1. I had a confusing time summing up the main ideas which translates to people reading my summary and understanding what the article was about. I did a good job concluding the solution of what Mrs.Coontz was saying. Yes, I understand that some of the things I was talking about were confusing due that I was assuming to much. I should not assume the reader knows what the article was about.

It is astonishing that my journey through English class has come to a close. My path has been a smooth and enjoyable one, and it is with great sadness that I begin to gather up the ends of my literary education. I know that I will continue to grow and develop as a critical reader/thinker throughout my life, but I will miss the educational structure that has shaped my literary understanding for the last year.
