Introduction I am very interested in the clothing retail industry so I interviewed an entrepreneur who is in this field. She is Natasha McKnight who owns a boutique named Sapphire Nine in Hollidaysburg. It is around twenty-five minutes drive from Altoona Ivyside campus. Natasha was new in that she opened the store in August this year. Sapphire Nine is her dream since she was three years old. She has been planning it for thirty-two years. Finally in April this year, she saw the opportunity – the liquidation of the former boutique so she started the plan to open her new store. After all these plans, she switched every item in the store to her products. On August 15th, it was the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Sapphire Nine. She planned to launch an official website of her store this November. Core Values • Focuses on quality and customer service • Contributes to the society Missions • Break even and successfully complete her first year • Open a second location in Philadelphia, and the third one in Pittsburg • Lives a comfortable life while doing what she is passionate about What does she sell? The boutique sells all female ages from 11 years old to 80 years old, and all sizes. She has a variety of customers. She has been thinking of branding to baby products but she hasn’t really had action yet. All the clothing in her store is under $75 and most of them are around $30 to $50. The accessories are about $10 to $20. The prices are relatively cheap and reasonable
