Martin Luther King Jr. finds himself in Birmingham due to the fact of the unfairness there. When people are in need of help, King describes that he feels he has to answer their pleas for assistance (King, par. 4). However, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Birmingham is flooded with discrimination, explains King (King, par. 7).
