The Unified Declaration of Independence
When in the course of human events, it is a great travesty and woe when a time comes for a child to dissolve the family ties to his or her parents, the ones that have supported them in this world. However, it becomes a necessary action when parents begin to over-manipulate their children, or become controlling in a way which suffocates. It would be a disrespectful act to assume such things without facts and evidences demonstrative of the necessity of these children’s action of separating from the control their parents hold.
We hold these truths to undoubted and just, that all men are created equal, and as such shall be provided with certain rights that no power can revoke, including that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As the day we came into this world, all are respected and free. It is a truth that parents may speak in part to their children's lives, that is their right; however it is outside of righteousness to allow the manipulation and dictative control over the lives of their children.
It is the right of children to alter or abolish the rules and regulations that we find offensive. Should our parents’ actions become excessively intolerable, and the rights of children have been ignored, it is

Therefore, we, the victims of such parenting now seek action. We will no longer be trampled upon. We will be free from our parents’ stereotypical assumptions. We will fight to preserve our freedom in order to pursuit our happiness. And for the support of this declaration, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our honors, as new independent citizens of this
1. That every child has the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.
The Convention obliges states to allow parents to exercise their parental responsibilities. The Convention also acknowledges that children have the right to express their opinions and to have those opinions heard and acted upon when appropriate, to be protected from abuse or exploitation, and to have their privacy protected, and it requires that their lives not be subject to excessive interference.
1. What is the purpose of the Declaration of Independence as stated in the introductory paragraph?
The U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are two very important documents in the founding of our nation. This essay compares how these two documents are linked together, but also how they are clearly different. Though both documents were created near the same time, the Declaration of Independence was actually written first. It was written by Thomas Jefferson and was adopted by congress on July 4, 1776, what we know today as Independence Day. The U.S constitution though, was not adopted until eleven years later in 1787. After these two documents were written, Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1801.
Nevertheless, when in the course of life events, it becomes necessary for parents to stop supervise their kids' lives. Parents need to learn to let go and let their kids live their lives. I must explain why am I doing this. This led me to make my own Declaration of Independence from my parents. This is done for all the parents to see that we are all the same.
On June of 1776, the Declaration of Independence was born. Drawn up by Thomas Jefferson and based on the works of John Locke, the general purpose of the document was to clarify that governments have conditional, not absolute authority over the people; that human beings possess natural rights that can’t be taken from them and government is created to protect those rights. The phrases “unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” and “all men are created equal” were the main theme of the social contract written for the small colonies of what would be the basis of the United States of America to declare independence from Great Britain and its tyrannical king. However, “unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” and “all men are created equal” did not apply to African Americans, enslaved or free for the coming years.
The Declaration of Independence, completed and signed in July of 1776, marked the official separation between the 13 colonies and Great Britain. An armed struggle between the colonies and Britain had begun just over a year before, with the Battles of Lexington and Concord. The formal declaration of independence established the new American revolutionary government and officially declared war against Great Britain. The primary purpose of the declaration was to assist the Second Continental Congress in obtaining aid from foreign countries. The document also clearly outlines the history of abuses the colonists had suffered under British rule since the end of the French
We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men and women are created equal; that they are endowed certain unalienable rights; that among these rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These rights are ensured by the humanity of the people around us, and judgement threatens these purest of rights. We must, as people, humans,
These include the right to protection from abuse, the right for children to express their view and have them listened to and the right to care and services for disabled children and those living away from home.
Although the Declaration of Independence was a turning point in American history, it is bested by the era of Salutary Neglect. Long before the Declaration of Independence, Salutary Neglect caused a sense of unity and purpose along with the experience of new liberties, and a religious awakening.
The Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution are two major documents that changed the history of America. These documents changed the United States of America from a colonized nation to an independent nation that has its own government. The Declaration of Independence was written towards Great Britain on July 4, 1776, to show America is now a free state and no longer a colony of Britain (Ferling 222). On the other hand, the United States Constitution was signed in 1878 led to the formation of federal governments, which provided the right for each state to practice its own rule under the US Constitution (Ritchie 11). Without either of these documents, the United States government wouldn’t be as strong as it is today and probably
The Declaration of Independence was written to explain, why colonies chose to separate from Great Britain. In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson explains that if the government becomes unfair and controlling, a body of people have the right to change governments. Jefferson organized his argument in a format of writing an essay. He organized his document with an introduction, body, and conclusion.
because it is their right and duty to govern a child's grownth. Just because a child cannot access this content without a parent or gaurdian, he says, does not mean Freedom of Speech is abridged.
On the other hand, there are some parents that need to be stripped of their rights however children should not be extended to such a great latitude of freedom that parents or other adults instruction is no longer considered warranted. According to Harris-Short and Miles (2011) “The interventionist philosophy expressed the belief that parents knows what is best for their children, it seeks to protect the privacy of the family unit and the fundamental right of a child’s parent to raise their children in accordance with their own beliefs and values, free from state scrutiny and control (p. 522) Menchini (2011) contributed that “children are given only one opportunity to personal development: if this is lost, the consequences could last their entire
Parents have the fundamental right to care for their children as they see fit without interference from the government, provided there is no overriding compelling state interest. In fact, there is an expectation that the government will not
