A school birthed by a consolidation, Union School Corporation is an iconic treasure to the small community of Modoc, Indiana. It was formed in 1952 to accommodate students from all over. The closing of Modoc School, Huntsville, and Losantville consequently make up the Union School Corporation district. The building was finished accordingly in 1957 allowing it to open and start enrolling. Union Has been running strong until a few years ago when one of the previous superintendents made some very bad choices leading the school into money deficits. Since then the community has been trying to up the student population to just keep the school running from hosting foreign exchange students in taking a trip to China to recruit more students that way.
Everyone knows what it is like to be a student with 12 years of high school and or some college education. It is common knowledge what it is like to be behind the desk, learning new things every day. But, what is it like to be on the other side? I am going to reveal some hidden truths from behind the mask of the word administration. Whether a student was a bad kid who thought getting detention was the schools way of punishing them for why they chose that profession. I am going to lay it all out on the table for anyone who wants to be enlightened. The teachers do so much for us spending hours upon hours invested in our future.
