Language- it can be beneficial to people who want to work abroad, so they can learn something new as well as be able to converse with foreign people. Not only can it be beneficial to those people but to the rest of society as there are lots of different languages and cultures in society, so it can be a way of connecting people in the community.

Diversity – In the literal sense the word ‘diversity’ means different. Through diversity we recognise the uniqueness of the individual and value these differences. Diversity can consist of factors which include personal characteristics such as background, culture, personality and work-style. However, certain characteristics are protected under discrimination such as gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, disability and age.

Educational institutions that promote multiculturalism are beneficial, in that they prepare students for the increasing diversity in the workplace. An environment with diversity establishes values and builds character. It assists students in accepting and understanding the cultures to which their acquaintances belong to, as well as broadening their knowledge of the world.
Diversity enhances the local community by letting people adapt and change their attitudes to which previously they might have had a different attitude. Individuals may develop their own attitudes and identities along with beliefs and behaviours, which makes the community unique.
The higher socio – economic groups are normally more likely to arrange gatherings and events, to introduce the younger generations to the variety of cultures, beliefs and values and therefore embracing them into the very community that they will shape in years to come.
