This report will be about my chosen business Tesco. I will talk about the recruiting and selection process of Tesco. I chose Tesco because Tesco is one of the biggest supermarkets and they exist long time ago and they have been successful. Tesco has more than 250 employees so it is counted as a large business. Tesco was found in 1919 by Jack Cohen. Tesco on his first day made profit £1 from sales £4. Tesco’s brand appeared in 1924. Tesco has also bank, insurance company and petrol stations. Tesco have 476 000 employees so it is large business because is also international business. Tesco is a PLC company which means they are public limited company (they can sell shares to the public) and they have unlimited liabilities.

When a business breaches a contract, serious consequences can occur resulting in damages and losses. An expected service or agreement that is not complied with impacts everyone involved. A breach of contract can reduce earnings while also potentially harming future profits. It also puts a company’s value at risk if it cannot satisfy demands for products or meet deadlines. Often, monetary damages result from breach of contract claims. Claims are most often made by party who met its requirements against the party it alleges has not. Damages involved are typically lost revenues, sales impacts involve claims for lost value, and added costs resulting from the breach. Damages estimates are made using historical information and projections to support a plaintiff’s claim

Victoria 19,661 has built its economy on a wider range of resource base of timber, suitable climate, attractive landscape, cultural attractions, and a very well educated labour force and education. In addition, Victoria location off Interstate 4 and the great ocean road, and its proximity to the International-Melbourne Airport, give it market access that is more favourable than usual for a rural town.

I completed the health promotion and had personal achievements, I improved my confidence levels in conducting this health promotion as I was able to stand in front of a large number of individuals and speak loudly and clearly, I was unable to do this previously and was worrying about it beforehand. Another personal achievement was that I was able to work well within a team and effectively produce a health promotion to deliver to the participants. I was able to gain more knowledge on the topic myself, I knew a fair bit about this certain topic but I believed that I increased my knowledge. We did this by allocating tasks to each individual after deciding our aims and objectives. There was also a participants achievement, I believe that in doing the health promotion we were able to give the participants confidence if they were to conduct a similar promotion.

Before we created our promotional materials such as posters, leaflets and flyers, we had to make sure that we were able to find a suitable price in which we can budget according to our finances. During our research, we were able to locate a suitable printing agency in which we could print our promotional materials in bulk, so we could hand out in the local area to help promote the business. The advantage of the agency we chose for printing our material was that they were able to print our promotional materials within 2 working days and that any deliveries that took place could be tracked on the website when u log on to it, this to make sure that the delivery is going according to plan. Psychology is the study of the human mind and mental processes along with how they affect behaviour. Our behaviours have developed through evolution; a theory which was developed by Charles Darwin in the 1800s. The theory of evolution was the theory that animals and humans through natural selection have changed over generations to adapt to survive in a specific environment. The core assumptions are that as our physical characteristics have adapted over time, our behaviours have developed too because our genes influence our behaviour. For example, the ‘warrior gene’ – MAOA-L gene affects people’s behaviour by causing them to become more aggressive when provoked. A: In the software lifecycle there are 4 phases that are derived from the old System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and they are as follow; Planning, Implementation, Maintenance, and the Removal process. The purpose of this task is to individually design an educational activity based around technical influences. The activity implemented must be appropriate for a junior primary child.
