United Arabic Emirates (U.A.E.) is one of the United State of Americas’ Middle Eastern allies. U.A.E.’s economy is very fortunate, which is why it attracts much of The United States’ (U.S.) upper-class. The country makes majority of its money off of selling highly demanded resources like oil and natural gas. (United, 2014) These resources are some of the main reasons why the U.S. and U.A.E joined forces. The U.S. military play a critical role in protecting the riches of this country. If one can experience the riches of this country he has a legitimate opportunity to boast. Ultimately, the country’s government invests money into making it appealing to attract more tourist, further attracting more business. (Karbelashvili, 2015) As a result of U.A.E being such a business friendly country, political parties of the U.S. and U.A.E. eventually came to an agreement, to trade goods. U.A.E provided aluminum, mineral fuel and oil, fertilizers, and precious stones such as diamonds to the U.S. In exchange, the U.S. supplied U.A.E. with aircraft, vehicles, electrical machinery, machinery, and precious stones and metal like gold, diamonds, and jewelry. In the year 2012 the U.S. invested 7.8 billion in U.A.E (stock). (United, 2014) The high presence of supply and demand between the two countries reveals how one country needed the other to function. The oil-rich country is considered and extremely important ally of the U.S. Therefore, it is supported and protected by the U.S. Armed Forces and has also become an important market for U.S. manufactured military equipment. The U.S. recently agreed to sell U.A.E 60 Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) missiles and 100 Patriot Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical (GEM-T) missiles.
