This essay serves up all four SAT essay ingredients. It takes a very strong and clear stance on the topic in the first sentence and sticks to it from start to finish. It uses three examples from a very diverse array of disciplines—from Internet technology to history and politics to a profile of an entrepreneur—and it never veers from using these examples to support the thesis statement’s position. The organization of the essay follows our Universal SAT Essay Template perfectly, both at the paragraph level (topic sentences and development sentences) and at the overall essay level (intro, three meaty example paragraphs, a strong conclusion). The command of language remains solid throughout. The writer does not take risks with unfamiliar vocabulary
The author compares the difference from the past and the present and how the internet has changed not only himself, but others and the way that they are able to understand and focus due to the long-term use of the web. While comparing the past and the present the author gathers information from well know writers that feel the same way about the effects of the web. The author's choice of personal experiences, vivid imagery and analysis backed by research hook the reader and persuades them to believe that today's technology is causing mainly problems.

The SAT is still flawed along with the ACT and does not have any major differences between the two tests.
Standardized testing put a lot of stress on students. It is unnecessary due to the fact that many students are being held back for not passing it. When I was in high school, I never took all honor classes because I was intimidated from my peers. I was afraid I was not smart enough. I stressed the most towards the end of the year, because I am worried about passing the standardized tests. The purpose of standardized tests is to show the state what the students learned in school. There are other ways to see what the students learned in high school besides testing. I do not think standardized testing is necessary to graduate high school. Although standardized tests is an effective way to see what students have learned in high school,
Last summer, I had the privilege to attend the Michigan Health Sciences Pre-Exposure Academy held at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and hosted by the University of Michigan Health System Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI). This summer program took place on June 14 to June 27. This program provided me with exposure to the University of Michigan Medical School and other health related fields. This program gave me the chance to learn and understand better what medical classes were like and the intensity of work I needed to put in to succeed. My exposure in this summer program helped me decide the best pre-medicine course to take. It also gave me an opportunity to meet new people, many of whom shared similar interests with me, and who are still some of my best friends even to today. To conclude, the Michigan Health Sciences Pre-College Exposure Academy helped make the most of my summer vacation, gave me an insight in my future profession, and prepared me for the rest of my high school, and my upcoming college career.
Salt acts as a biologically, necessary nutrient for human growth and development. If human beings did not give a damn about salt’s importance, our world would be filled with bland food, filthy water, and deadly disease. History’s first written records of salt appeared in China, around 4,700 years B.C.E. Salt played a major role in ancient history, especially in Roman and Egyptian cultures. Citizens of Rome and Egypt commonly used salt as trade goods, currency for soldiers, religious offerings, and even used in the process of mummification. Modern day chemists found several important ways to use salt. People use sodium today for softening water for drinking, flavoring foods, and for treatment of various medical conditions. Humans and
Standardized test are one of the many measures profession school counselors use to assess students performance and learning. When it come to making a decision about a student's educational performance, school counselors prefer more than one criteria instead of just using a single test. The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) established in 2001 stated that the academic achievement of all student should be held accountable by the school. “High-stakes testing, which refers to the use of standardized test scores to determine levels of student achievement, became the decision-making, measurement vehicle. High-stakes test results are often used as a method to determine a student’s: academic placement, promotion and retention, graduation and intervention services.
In the event the proposal, ACT and SAT standardized tests are essential to receive admission to major colleges and universities as well as finical aid. With these tests affecting many high school students’ future, test taking strategies and procedures should be taken into consideration. The factors involved with such preparations are already seen to be done by students outside of class, either by themselves or hiring a tutor. However, there are multiple problems for specific students to achieve a high score on these exams. The aim of the proposal is that high schools should offer an ACT and SAT preparation course for students. Conflicts and considerations of the aim will be needed in order to develop a persuading argument.

My venture on writing a book on economics was not something that was pre-planned. It was neither an attempt to extemporize on the current economic events that were taking place globally since the 2008 financial crisis. If it totally depended on my determination I would rather not have ventured into it, albeit the impregnable impulse to dive into it. There were unassailable challenges that delayed the project. Such experiences were a learning curve and added more quality to the work. This book is after a hiatus of twelve years since my last book. This time, I was looking at economics from a whole different perspective from the mainstream which I call True Economics. I was involved in one way or the other in human systems and how economic conditions affect them and vice versa. Remember the transition of companies in the 1990s as they were getting ready for the new millennium ahead? Of all the challenges and opportunities were the information technology revolution and the emerging internet boom. The economic factors adjusting with a new kind of economy with ample use of information some called knowledge economy. It was at the core for larger business enterprises during the pre-dot-com surge. Past the year 2000 many internet based companies also called dot-com, were transitioning from a period of the bubble and burst in the stock market. Many technologists, economists, and investors were struggling to find a framework of an economic model for the new information paradigm. The
