Due to the fact that he lost his wife, I would portray him to be down to earth and live for the memory of his wife. I would want this character to be loving and have a heart of gold just as his wife would want him to do.

In his directorial debut, Jordan Peele steers away from his comedic reputation to make the suspenseful thriller that is Get Out. The film is very intriguing and keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat throughout from start to finish as you follow Chris Washington, a young african american man, who travels with his white girlfriend to her family’s house when he uncovers a dark secret. For the typical fan of horror/thriller, it's a must see.
In the movie each of the main characters, Norman who is eighty years old, Ethel who is seventy years old and Chelsea who is forty years old go through some of the stages of psychosocial development. The first character in the movie I will be talking about is Norman. I recognized him first from the movie because I knew something seemed wrong with him. For example, in the beginning of the movie him and his wife Ethel goes to their vacation spot and he sees a picture of them and doesn’t recognize who the people are. His wife had to remind him that it was them in the picture. He is very forgetful and it seems that his mental is not as strong as it

The public images of the elderly uncles are both positive and negative. There are negative terms used toward them like “geezer” and “grandpa”. Our society, at times, looks down on the elderly and this attitude is being feed through the negative attitudes being portrayed in the movie. However, the positives outweigh the negatives. The spirit, strength and adventure of the uncles certainly shines through. The uncles are very adventures and they show that no matter what your age you can still have fun and enjoy life. More importantly, the knowledge and life experiences of the elderly should be learned from and passed onto the next generation.

I have chosen to write on the 2007 movie "Arranged", which centers around two teachers, Rochel Meshenbers, an Orthodox Jewish woman and Nasira Khaldi, a Muslim woman, who both were first-year teachers in Brooklyn. During lunch time, Nasira and Rochel each sat alone as the other teachers sat gossiping about guys and the different parties they attended. Both women kept to themselves until, that is, the students start having a discussion amongst themselves concerning their new teachers. The students were saying they heard that the two teachers could not be friends because one was Jewish and the other was Muslim and that the Muslims wanting kill off all the Jews.
The United States has fought in many wars throughout the years. The Korean War took place from 1950-1953. It has also been called the forgotten war, as people do not recognize it like the Second World War, the Vietnam War or the Gulf War. This battle consisted of North Korea, South Korea and the United States. It was fought on sea, land and air. The Korean War was a clash between the Communist forces and the free world.
At the beginning of the movie “Up” viewers are quickly exposed to a transformation of Carl Fredricksen from childhood to old age. For the duration of the movie, Carl remains a 78-year-old man, who at first appears grumpy, sad, and guilty at times, and surely missing his late wife. Carl is often shown in a scene talking to his deceased wife as if she were really there, reminiscing of memories spent together, and admiring old photographs of the two of them. Being a widow took a definite toll on Mr. Fredricksen, and he showed obvious signs of depression to be living without his wife. Towards the beginning of the film, spectators are familiarized with Carl’s habits. Often, he is yelling at people to get off of his property, slamming his door, and spends all his time alone; he rarely smiles and does not seem to have any purpose to his life. In accordance with the research, Mr. Fredricksen seems to be struggling with his mental health and shows evidence of a sedentary lifestyle.Luckily, Mr. Fredricksen meets a young boy named Russell who turns his life around.
The playwright was trying to get quite a few messages when he created this play. First of all, I believe he was trying to show social change and the power and potential that an individual has inside of them, despite their circumstances. I think that this play/movie reveals the true messiness of life and how with the right mindset, you can make it through anything you
