Under international law, the US coast Guards cutter has the rights to board, search and seize the vessel for illegal fishing without the Russian consent. The US coast Guard IS authorized to board boats substance to the jurisdiction of the United States at anytime, anyplace on the seas and the waterway over which the US has the jurisdiction, to make inquiries, inspection, examinations, inspections, and arrests. Furthermore, this suggests that the US coast Guards do not necessarily need the warrant to conduct the search, arrests over any US waterways. They also have a full legal law enforcement power on any given land under the control of the US, as needed in the completion of any given mission. This case is similar to a case that we had done
Currently there are 221, 29 foot Response Boat Small assets in the Coast Guards inventory. Of these assets, all were made with hardened tempered glass. This paper will discuss a need to remove current glass and replace with automotive safety glass to reduce hazards to boat crews.

This document shows how hard finical management is in the United States Coast Guard. That they have to follow all of the laws and very tight budget that the government gives them. They also have to stay in audit regulations for the government. They also have to be able to handle very complicated situations with the money spending. It also talks about the all money they put into training them and how over time they will be given more work to deal with. It goes on to tell how many skills and requirements you need to me apart of finical management in the Coast Guard. This article is all about how the Coast Guard Financial managers are trained (Spadafora, 2015).

My goal in life is to serve our country as a United States Naval Officer. Growing up in a family surrounded by military personnel has made an immense impact on my life and will allow me to understand what it takes to be one of our nations finest leaders. I have witnessed firsthand the dedication, hard work, and sacrifices made by my father while serving in the United States Air Force and I am eager to use the values that he has instilled in me since an early age. Although a tradition of military service is common in my family, it has never been an innate verdict for me to serve. Serving in the United States Navy (USN) is a personal choice and I recognize the responsibilities that come with commissioning as a Naval Officer. I trust the USN will provide exceptional training and career enhancing opportunities that will allow me to develop into a top-notch officer.
In 1997, Commander Michael J. Alfonso made the history books. According to an article published that year, they found that (regarding Alfonso) “It was the first time in the 15-year operating history of the United State’s most lethal submarine that a Trident commander had been dismissed, the Navy said. http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=19970909&slug=2559353).” The article states that he was verbally abusive to the crew, refused repeatedly to listen to opinions of other officers and senior enlisted personnel, and disregard of his crews views which caused morale problems on board.

Shah was a high ranking individual in Bin Laden's army and a primal leader of the Taliban. Marcus Luttrell was one of four Navy SEALs who was deployed on this mission, along with his closes friends and fellow teammates Michael Murphy, Danny Dietz and Matthew "Axe" Axelson. Within a few hours of the mission his team was ambushed. Luttrell witnessed all three of his teammate die along with a rescue helicopter that was destroyed with sixteen on board. This failed mission was the largest loss of lives in Navy SEAL history. Marcus Luttrell witness great levels of heroism and tragic take place resulting in him being the
1. This case study identified various segmentation variables – singles without children, families, sports enthusiasts, and mature consumers – who would be looked at by marketers as potential travelers to Virginia Beach. Other segments that may fall into this category could be: young married couples with no children (DINK), and college students in fraternities. To target DINK couples, a marketer may advertise VA Beach using digital mediums like email, or Google advertisements - since DINKS have been shown to obtain a lot of content digitally (Parton, 2015). Due to time constraints that come with working couples, a targeted link may be provided - that could emphasize the ease of planning a trip, and accessibility of the location.
The United States of America has not always been the world superpower that it is today. The same goes for its Navy. In the first several years of existence, the United States Navy was not a formidable fighting force. The young nation was hesitant to invest in a navy for many reasons, one of them being to prevent provoking the world powers of the time, France and Britain. On top of that, navies were very expensive to build and required a significant amount of resources to maintain, which the U.S. did not have at the time. To say that the United States Navy was ill prepared for war would be a dramatic understatement. The U.S. had a total of fifteen ships in its entire naval fleet compared to the might of the Royal Navy which possessed over six hundred warships. Even with the odds stacked against the U.S., President Madison declared war on 18 JUN 1812. The lack of size and power of the navy at the time would make it extremely difficult to satisfy the needs of the newly founded nation.
Search and Rescue (SAR) is one of the Coast Guards oldest missions. Minimizing the loss of life, injury, property damage or loss by rendering aid to persons in distress has always been one of the Coast Guards top priorities. On the early morning of November 16, 2017 around 8:45 AM, Coast Guard Station Washington overheard a terrifying event taking place on their local channel 17 radio. There was a forty-foot pleasure craft vessel on fire with two people on board, along with eight other people in the water occurring in the mouth of the Washington channel by Haines Point. A crew of five experienced Boat Crew members worked quickly to get underway on their 29-foot small response boat. Once underway and on scene at 9:00 AM there were already other multiple government agencies responding. The Coxswain, BM3 Westoby was surveying the scene and noticed Fire boat 201 was fighting the fire on the forty-foot pleasure
Forty body bags covered the stern deck of the Coast Guard cutter Seneca, this was my first exposure to death. One ladder up on the flight deck, over one hundred Haitian refugees, survivors from the overturned vessel, patiently waited for the desperately needed food and water. This was one of the many experiences throughout my twenty two year Coast Guard career that shaped the man I am today. I have a passion for service and true desire to help people improve their lives.
One October morning in 1965, my dad, my brother and his three friends set out on a fishing trip. They reached their destination, known for the best fishing; they dropped anchor. The day proved fruitful; they caught lots of fish until it was time to return home. When they turned the key to the engine, it would not start. They also discovered, to their dismay that the anchor failed to catch allowing them to drift away from Bermuda all day. My mother became anxious when they did not return at the expected time. An hour later, inquiries at the dock confirmed they were still at sea. As it neared nightfall, she contacted the police who called the U.S. Naval Coastguard Search and Rescue. A plane dispatched combed the area until darkness set in; they suspended the search for that night until the next morning when it would resume. My mother called several church members asking for prayer for their safe return. Ironically the night before, she had watched the movie, "The Titanic." She sat up all night praying. At the crack
In the world we live in today, experiences shape and mold a person. Our unique passions, our different cultures, and our individual experiences create a beautiful and distinct story that is purely our own. For me, this experience has been the constant presence of the United States Coast Guard in my life. My father has been serving in the Coast Guard for twenty years, and because of this experience, I will never be able to answer the seemingly simple question “Where are you from?”. However, I feel so grateful for this lifelong experience, for it has taught me to be patient and open minded, responsible, adaptive, and excited for change and has deepened my love for travel and adventure.
