Computers and technological devices have been heavily used in millions of elementary classrooms throughout the world. While many people believe this is a beneficial thing some think it is taking over the traditional ways of learning and damaging their social interaction. All the colors and sounds on the screen attract children and make them think that what they are learning is fun and enjoyable. Using computers in the classroom is very beneficial, but it should not be replacing traditional ways of education. As Elizabeth Bohnhorst, author of Floppy Disk Fallacies, stated “…computers are being used more and more frequently as a substitute for books, blackboards, and in some cases, the teachers themselves (251-252)”. Students will soon not have the need to bring pencils, paper, and even a backpack to class because everybody will be using computers as a means of learning. Moreover, computers should be used only as a tool to assist learners and make certain tasks accomplishable more efficiently while also keeping traditional ways of learning.

Every day, there are multiple new inventions that are created. Many professional disciplines bring into existence exciting breakthroughs and technological advances. These developments are vital for society in order to keep up with the fast-moving pace of the world. There are several roles related with patient health records. Not merely is the record employed to record patient care, but it is in addition utilized in recording and tracking financial and legal information, and research and quality development reasons (Brenda et al 2008). It is important to understand that patients are very satisfied with electronic health systems. For example, patients see a vast improvement in the speed at which they are being seen when they go their doctors’ office. Technology has revolutionized the human experience by changing the way one learns. Technology can best be defined as a tool that supports and promotes human learning. This can be seen through the usage of calculators, tablets (example: iPad), Smart Boards, video cameras, and, of course, the computer. These are all innovations that can have a profound impact on classroom learning. Although there are some schools that have a strict policy that technology should be removed from the modern day classroom, other schools believe that integrating technology into the classroom helps prepare our students for the elaborate world they will face going forward. The education system around the world has progressed and changed in a plentiful amount of ways, and the concept of knowledge and learning has changed in modern day. For example, certain schools around the globe are moving on to implementing technology in classrooms because it provides many benefits and statistical research that states how students are improving their academic readiness because of the instant access to information, a greater engagement and interactive process in learning, and the personalization that instructors can do towards the educational experience that students receive. The benefits of technology in class can be rather debatable, for there are people who think it's a distraction, but it certainly seems to be beneficial according to the increase of passing percentages in schools.

Microscopy allows one to view samples and objects that cannot be seen with the human eye. With all the modern techniques used in the biology field today, microscopy is one of the most important one that allows us to see a world beyond what our eyes limits us too. The majority of both organisms that are helpful and harmful are too small to be seen with the human eye, and without the microscope we would have not understood the mechanism behind the major diseases we know today. Microscopy has helped scientists produce antibiotics and antiviral drugs to treat the diseases that once were in a world beyond our vision. There are three types of microscopy mainly used: optical (light), electron, and scanning probe microscopy.

Currently, there is a colossal debate regarding the use of technology in education. Some argue that using technology has a multitude of benefits, while others argue that technology use generates drawbacks or problems. I have read “Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants” by Marc Prensky, “The Learning Potential Of E-Books” written by Lotta Larson, and “Students’ perceptions of the usefulness of an E-book with annotative and sharing capabilities as a tool for learning: a case study” by Ee-Lon Lim and Khe Foon Hew, and I support the argument in which technology should be implemented into education because of its numerous benefits. The way that the education system is currently structured should change in order to allow technology to assist the teaching and learning process of today’s students.

Based on this fact we had planned to work with computers and develope an education system which may reach the children of the 21st century and offer them a playful education with lots of fun, and activities, what the nowadays-children appriciate.

The present era has progressed not only in terms of education but also in the department of information technology. People usually resort into using technology for a faster way of communication, to progress in work and in education. Some colleges and universities have implemented the different kinds of technology for purposes of developing a student’s skills and abilities. “Technology is seen in several forms from the simple functions of a calculator used in mathematics to the most complicated computers and technological gadgets” (Flannagan L.J., pg. 07). However, alongside the positive advantages of technology and advanced computer system, there is also a negative side or disadvantages causing problems that need to be solved. While the “ideal goal for educators is to implement technology in the classroom and see definite positive affects on student achievement” (Flannagan L.J., pg. 09). We are living in a world filled with high tech gadgets in the current time like ipads, social media such as twitter, facebook, tumbr and google.

Education is one of the most important professions in the working world. Technology has done many things for us in today’s society especially for education and schools. Technology in the school system has impacted the students and teachers in many positive ways, including virtual field trips, testing tips, teacher resources, class web sites, and lesson plans. With computer use in our schools, we have access to many different sources and various types of learning.

John Dewey, a leader for the progressive movement in education in the United States once said, “If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow.”
