It is common for every household to own and care for animals. The love you have for your pet is the same love as a best friend. At some point veterinarians provide these animals with some kind of medical treatment. Most veterinarians now operate with some type of veterinary management software. In order to provide excellent service and interact more efficiently with clients, the veterinary office needs to run more smoothly. For that reason , there are many different types of software. There are too many features to name but here are just a few: Appointment Calendar, Pet pictures, Invoicing, Patient Medical History and etc (IntraVet, 2014). IntraVet also offers many solutions for support. It has fast solutions to hardware issues and has enhanced expandability and compatible. Most importantly IntraVet has a disaster recovery contingency plan for downed systems (IntraVet, 2014). As you know disasters can occur at anytime so this is the most important feature. VetBlue is the last of my three chosen software programs. The main reason is because this is the software program that interest me the most. VetBlue is one of the most newest and most successful entries into this market and it is 100% cloud based program that uses the internet to create a mobile and easily accessible stream of information (VetBlue, 2014). This is a great software because not only can the veterinary office have access. Owners of pets can also access and get up to date information. VetBlue helps mange billing, client communication, medical records, scheduling, and much more. There is no hardware and no software. So that means no training requirements. Very affordable and eventually you will be able to increase revenue (VetBlue, 2014).
