The Las Vegas and Atlantic City locations have lost revenues in recent years. In addition to the economic slowdown, these gambling locations are also facing new competitors in the market that are providing attractive choices to the customers. Though there are some external forces beyond their control, it seems that attractiveness and accessibility are very important focus areas for these cities.
Walking away with only one foot ,deserting because you don’t want to stay and fight. In 1777 through 1778 the Continental Army stayed at Valley Forge due to the Revolution against the British. George Washington was the leader of the Continental Army ,so he was the one that decided the Army would stay at Valley Forge taking the pros into consider. Staying at Valley Forge was hard for the Continental Army because they had to sleep on mud and sticks surrounded by twelve men including themselves which lead many soldiers to desert. Now if I were there I would stay at Valley Forge. Many of the soldiers quit which meant they didn’t reenlist. The reasons I would stay is because there was a high chance of survival, we got supplies that were necessary, and I want to admire what I worked for.
During the revolutionary war, the valley forge soldiers fought the british for their freedom. The americans during the war had many battles and lots of death from illnesses and much more. Would you have left the war? If i quit, life will be better without any risks.
Valley forge was a campsite during the civil war. Its was a rough time for the soldiers lots of people died. In December 1777 - 1778 the american soldier took camp in Valley Forge. (Doc A)They weren't ready for what was about going to happen . The winter there was horrible they didn't have clothes for the cold and were running out of supplies. By Descender 1777 12000 solder were at the camp by december 23, 2,898 solder were sick. By june 1,800 to 2,500 soldiers died . (DocA ). In (DocB) Valley Forge was nice and peaceful but it's wasn't there running low in supplies and people were dieing because it was to cold . George Washington took this time to train this solders that weren't sick or already died .
Watership Down takes place in Sandleford Warren, Enbrone Crossing, Newton Common, and Cowslips Warren, Frith Copse. In the front of the book it has a map which shows where the rabbits have lived and traveled. The rabbits first lived at the Sandleford Warren; however one of the rabbits, Fiver, had a vision that danger was coming. A group of rabbits went with Fiver and his brother, Hazel. The first headed toward Enbrone Crossing. “It was in fact the little river Enbrone, twelve to fifteen feet wide and at this time of year two or three feet deep with spring rain, but to the rabbits it seemed immense, such a river as they had never imagined.”(Adams30) In this story it is May. It’s May, isn’t it? (Adams 12)
“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.”(Paine 153) The winter at Valley Forge, during 1777, held small struggles. like missing your family, to the great struggles of almost dying from starvation and dysentery. The soldiers at Valley Forge had little food to eat and were either too cold or could not breath because of the smoke in the cabins. The men that lived during that time, however, did not give up. They did not stop to order some pizza of their iphone when they were hungry. Even after watching men stop and take their last breath, they kept moving forward through the trials. Though some would think this crazy, if I were at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777 and 1778 I would have decided to re-enlist for three reasons which are: the army needs healthy men, to be free you must contribute in the work, and we cannot quit if we want Britain to stop taxing us.
Conditions at the Valley Forge were bad because temperatures would be very cold which led to hypothermia. Another reason was smallpox colonist did not face smallpox which led them very weak and have no immunity. One in four soldiers who would get smallpox would die. Many soldiers would not have shoes and have very little to eat due to the lack of food and sources. They also had unpurified water which led to dysentery which spread to more diseases. If I were put in anyone of those soldiers shoes I would leave because I would not be able to go without eating or face harsh conditions that they faced.
You wake up cold and slowly rise from your bare cot, shivering. You dress in you're only spare clothing, and peel back the ripped canvas tent door. As your bare feet step onto the snowy grass, a shiver runs down your spine. You are given a piece of bread, while you long for turkey and potatoes. You see many bodies being carried out of the makeshift hospitals, as you dread that you might be next. This is how a day in the life of the Revolutionary War soldiers went through while the army was in Valley Forge. Would you like to live in these conditions?
Upon a quick glance, the advertisement published in 2015 by Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa appears to be abundant in color, joyful and fairytale-like; at least when I first saw it a year ago. However, after reading about the different variations of objectification in advertisements I no longer see the ad as an innocent take on fairytales. Advertisements are meant to be geared to a public, or a specific public, in order to sell a product. Still, some ads showcase women as the product or at least a way to get people to purchase the product. Although any gender, culture, religion, or group can be victims of objectification in advertisements, women are mainly targeted.
There is no food, I am cold, and have little humor, I want to go home. This is only some of the horrible things happening. It is 1777 and George Washington has several 1,000 troops settled at Valley Forge. We are here to fight for are freedom from the british. It is winter here and us men are not doing well. The real question is: Will I Quit? I have served my time.Things have been so bad, I am deciding to quit and not re-enlist. The 3 reasons I want to leave are so many are sick, awful living conditions, and I don’t want to die.
Fallout New Vegas takes place in post-nuclear Las Vegas, where the New California Republic (NCR) and Caesars’ Legion are battling it out for control of the strip. You are a random courier who wakes up in the small town of New Springs after being shot in the head. After being patched up, you set off into the Mojave to find out who shot you. When Fallout New Vegas was announced, I was not interested in it at all. I had never heard of the Fallout games beforehand, and it just seemed like a very generic shooter. Was I ever wrong. Fallout New Vegas is now one of my favourite games of all time.

From a great age, the political figures and thinkers have detained opinions, based on political, military, and socio-economic rewards, about population issues as the most desirable number of people or the need to excite or hold back population growth. In order to get a handle on population issues, put the facts of population together with the “whys” and “wherefores.” In other words, that need a demographic perspective - a way of relating basic information to theories about how the world operates demographically. A demographic perspective guide through the sometimes tangled relationship between population factors (such as: distribution, age structure and growth) and the rest of what is going on in the society. In order to develop
