One source is future reversals of temporary differences. 30-7 The tax effect of a valuation allowance expected to be necessary for a deferred tax asset at the end of the year for originating deductible temporary differences and carryforwards during the year shall be included in the effective tax rate. > > > Recognition of Deferred Tax Assets and Deferred Tax Liabilities 55-7 Subject to certain specific exceptions identified in paragraph 740-10-25-3, a deferred tax liability is recognized for all taxable temporary differences, and a deferred tax asset is recognized for all deductible temporary differences and operating loss and tax creditcarryforwards.
