Everybody has different values, beliefs and choices. What you consider in what you see as important and what you see as acceptable is crucial part of your life.
The manner in that you respond to people is related to what you consider in, what you do not forget is crucial and what interests you. But you could locate that you react positively to those who share your values and much less warmly to people who have different priorities. Whilst you develop friendships, it is natural to spend time with people who percentage your interests and values. But, the professional relationships your growth with people you help are another matter.
Beliefs: As a health and social care worker, it is their responsibility and one of the main duties of care to make that you do not allow your values and beliefs to affect your work this refer to the code of practice 2013 published by the skill of care. As a care worker you must leave the personal thoughts and ideas at the back of while you're with the individual and vulnerable people because this might affect them in a bad way. Practitioner should be aware of their own personal values, beliefs and attitudes and be organized to adopt the professional values and not impose the personal thoughts on the patient. For example: Talking about Muslim people, hijab and telling them that they are terrorist with patient this might influence them in a bad way, because if the patient will have the Muslim doctor or Muslim carer the patient will not feel comfortable with them and this can have risk on their life. …show more content…
