• Vaslav Nijinsky
• He was born on March 12, 1889 in the city of Kiev in Russian Empire, during his parents tour in Ukraine.
• His parents Foma Nijinsky and Eleonora Bereda. They owned touring dance company. His father teach Vaslav how to dance.
• In 1895 Nijinsky was only five years old when he performed his debut on stage. It is happened in Nizhni Novgorod, Russian Empire. He participated in several stage performances there with his his parents and smaller sister, Bronislava Njinska.
• He was the greatest male dancer of the early 20th century, Russian ballet dancer.
• At only seven years old, he was accepted to the Imperial School of Ballet in St. Petersburg, later he finished the school with honors and became a professional ballet dancer.
• Nijinsky became the attraction, for famous people, such as the Russian Emperor Nicholas II, Grand Prince Vladimir Romanoff, and Prince Pavel Lvov. Nijinsky entered into a relationship that set him up to many failures in his life and career. He and Romola went to Buenos Aires. His marriage causing him a cascade of many traumatic experiences, such as his split from Diaghilev and his failed performances. Dancer followed his wife's and they tried to open an independent ballet company in London, but their project collapsed due to the lack of leadership and administrative knowledges. Nijinsky's wife tried to follow the plan to have her own ballet show with her husband. But it caused him even more failures and further exacerbated his trauma and illness.
