If you want something dark and mysterious, dyed film is ideal for you. Dyed film contains three layers: an adhesive, a dyed film, and a protective coating. Since it is the darkest, it offers the most privacy and protection. It also eliminates glare from headlights and streetlights. However, since it is layered it may begin to separate over time. Metalized Film

Another option for vehicle tinting is metalized film. This type of film contains four layers: an adhesive, a metalized layer, a layer that protects from UV radiation, and a protective coating. As you might guess, metalized film is reflective. It works wonderfully for reducing glare and heat from the sun and other light sources. It's also resistant to fading. However, the film might interfere with radio waves as the metalized layer can sometimes disrupt the antennae. It's also more expensive, as it contains several layers that offer maximum protection.
