I agree with you. The Department of Veteran Affairs has failed many veterans. Moreover, as you stated, with the bureaucratic system that exists, and each change within legislation the agency has had a very difficult time adapting to the change. Furthermore, I attest to your thoughts on these changes in legislation, regulations, political influences, and unrealistic public expectations do contribute to the ineffectiveness of the programs offered by any one of the federal agencies.
Imagine as an immigrant one enters into a new life unfamiliar to the culture and the expectations of a new society. Faced with so many challenges and uncertainties, how does one fit into a new environment or align oneself with existing resources for a successful cultural transition? Veterans transitioning into civilian life may experience similar challenges and may require a multidisciplinary approach consisting of improved communication, understanding and the perception of the underlying issues which contribute to the challenges veterans face with assimilating to the civilian life. Although, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is the most talked about issue with returning veterans, there are many more issues that ensue. For example,
“He who has health has hope. And he who has hope, has everything.”- Benjamin Franklin. The decision to pursue a lifetime of service within the Healthcare industry was quite easy for me. After witnessing the importance of having exceptional health care first hand, I want to do everything I can to assist others by ensuring that healthcare policies and procedures are followed properly. Without proper health care, a person can feel lost and hopeless. I believe that an Administrative Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital will enable me with the necessary tools to plan, direct, communicate, and govern effectively in a health care facility.
The issue being addressed in this study is veteran’s rights, most notably homelessness and suicide rates. The subject of veteran’s rights overall is still being pursued. Along with the mindset of the American public, to the cases presented before Congress, this is an ongoing dilemma. Caring for our brothers and sisters in arms is the socially responsible thing to do. Ensuring the public is aware, and promoting campaigns to raise awareness, this is what the paper will touch on.

This email is in support of my application for the Medical Assistant position at your medical practice in Northwest Atlanta. I am excited to find this opportunity because it closely aligns with my interests and future aspirations of becoming a Physician Assistant. What is being offered is an opportunity that will allow me to hone and polish my interpersonal, communication, and technical skills, but to also develop new skill sets that some health professionals lack. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine. As a Biology major, my coursework allowed me to understand the study of life and how disturbances in the biological systems can influence one’s health. I loved this form of science but realized that managed care plays a greater role in the healthcare system. Thus, I minored in public health and later obtained a Master of Public Health to not only strengthen my knowledge, research abilities, and writing skills, but to also gain the ability to think critically and make decisions that will optimize the benefits of the patient. Both educational experiences have provided me with a solid foundation to build my medical career. I am a very intelligent young woman with a deep interest in two diverse approaches, which will ultimately help bridge the gap between patients and the community. Ultimately, I want a career that not only interacts at the individual level, but at the population level as

During my fifth week doing the internship at the DOL (VETS), I had the great opportunity to visit the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC). I learn about what they do in the organization and it amazed me on how the organization start with low resources and their achievements during this process. The VMC is a non-profit organization which goal is to give veterans resources. It includes helping veterans with their resume, IT knowledge, food, games, housing, and they also can do laundry. The VMC works together with VETS. It was a good opportunity to see the VMC to work one and one with the veterans.
