Megan Simmons Bosch Section 213 4 Feb 2017 Demonstration Speech Reflection My specific purpose was to teach my audience how to hold a violin bow. I believe I achieved that purpose because I previewed what the audience needed to know (the parts of the bow) before they could learn how to hold a violin bow properly, I said the steps of how to hold the violin bow and then explained each, I had a PowerPoint to diagram clearly what the parts of the bow were and I demonstrated in person how to hold the bow, and I also concluded and reviewed the steps of how to hold the bow to make sure they fully understood. I think my introduction was written well, but I could have delivered it better. I could have projected my voice a little more and I could have
(1987) described this form of instruction as a systematic method of teaching with emphasis on proceeding in small steps, checking for student understanding, and achieving active and successful participation by all students. I have also used the strategy as reference for determining the strengths and weaknesses of my lesson. After conducting in class lesson and reviewing my video lesson multiple times, I was able to identify my strengths

I wish I was able to practice and experiment more with my voice. For the midterm scene, there was mostly one emotion going through my mind as I was in character: annoyance… and possibly exasperation. There was not a great variety of emotion in that one scene. However, during in-class exercises, I think that I am able to experiment more thoroughly. Right now I am okay with my vocal strength, range, and flexibility, although I do see room for improvement especially in expressiveness in adapting to the script. If I were to continue acting I would like to play with lines
Nancy Pelosi could easily become the best thing that happened to the GOP this year. Under her failed leadership, we have managed to gain complete control of the White House, Senate, and the House for the first time since 1928. Not only can we thank Pelosi for this year’s elections, but we can go ahead and thank her for the 2018 elections as well.
The lesson is about the story called "Owl Moon" which is composed by Jane Yolen. Before I start, I set myself up to be prepared for two hours day by day and ensure that I have everything sharp including questions, the reason for this story, action, show them five words in gesture based communication, et cetera. The understudies' response went exceptionally well and stay center to the story. The educator revealed to me that she was inspired that the understudies stay peaceful and anxious to answer the inquiries. Also, I think they are pulled in to my communication through signing and attract their advantage the story. It ran well with the story, inquiries, and action. When I show them the five words in American Communication via gestures, they
The battle of Verdun was one of the major battles during World War 1 on the Western Front. It was fought between the German and French armies, from February, 21 to December, 18 1916, on very rough terrain north of the city of Verdun Sur Meuse in North East France. The Objective of the Germans was to take over Verdun so that it had a major upper hand in regards to the attack on the capital Paris. What the Germans planned to do as well as coming down through Belgium, was to take over Verdun and make railways to support the western front. So eventually they could get through to Paris front and back. During this battle they had 2 major objectives, to capture the city of Verdun and to inflict a high casualty count on the French to weaken their forces
I should have allowed more time to understand what Mr. Comer was thinking and feeling by putting words to his vocal sounds and actions. I could have shown more empathy in the form of my own body language to promote active listening (Egan 2002) and not worried about other peoples views on my
It’s sixth grade English; our teacher, Mrs. Kennedy, is diagramming sentences on the chalkboard. It’s time for another game of classroom baseball. The baseball is two millimeters in diameter. Made from a small piece of paper and spit. The bat is made of graphite surrounded by yellow lacquered cedar wood topped with a pink rubber eraser. Hey batter, batter. The student’s desk are circled around the perimeter of the room. Christy’s first in the lineup and sits up straight in her desk stepping up to the plate. Beckie pitches the spit wad ball and whoosh it’s a first-pitch strike, the wad of paper now lies in the center point of the room. The pitcher wads another ball and the batter readies herself. Here comes pitch number two. Ping,
There are many philharmonic orchestras but today I will be talking about the most famous ones. Before I start I will tell you what it means. A philharmonic is a symphony orchestra or the group that supports it. A symphony is a large orchestra. An orchestra is a large group of musicians who play together on various instruments, usually including strings, woodwinds, brass instruments, and percussion instruments. Philharmonic comes from Greek words meaning ‘love of harmony’.

The presentation introduced some common ideas related to ethics. One thing curve into my mind was the doctrine of relative faith that every single person in our society tends to regard “I am not so bad as long as others are worse”. That argument is somewhat cliché or general excuse when it comes to unethical behavior.
