In other for any business to thrive they need to look forward and understand their strengths and weaknesses and forces that will shape their business in years to come. Companies need to make sure that their moral; values and goals are in line with their strategies. Throughout the years Coca-Cola and partners have put strategies in place in defining their 2020 vision in the growing world of refreshments. Introduction Coca Cola was founded in 1892 by a pharmacist named Dr. John S. Pemberton. Its headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Today Coca-Cola is the world’s number one selling sparkling beverage with a daily serving estimated at 1.9 billion globally. It is dominated in the global market at about 48% and is sold in over 200 different countries, with over 500 different sparkling brands and 3,900 still brand beverages within the market. Some of the beverages range from Juices, tea, coffee, water and sports drink (Worldofcocacola.com). Today Coca-Cola business has done extremely well and for the 2017 year of progress the global net operating revenue for Coca-Cola was $48.88 million and a market value of $182.9 million (Statista, com). Mission Coca-Cola Company roadmap starts with its mission called enduring meaning to refresh the world, to inspire moments of optimism and happiness and to create value and make a difference (coca-colacompany.com). The mission is simply laid out in three lines, is not very clear it lacks specificity and does not explain what kind of transformation it is trying to make.
