Visionary Transformational Leadership Model Organizations today face all kinds of challenges. Because they must deal with many types of issues they need visionary leaders to change the status quo and transform them into something better for the future (Kouzes & Posner, 2008). Some of these leaders have included people like Burton Nanus and Warren Bennis, who have authored books on visionary leadership and the transformational leadership style that is so very important today and for the future (Kotlyar & Karakowsky, 2007). Mostly, individuals like Nanus and Bennis realize the significance of getting the entire company or organization working together as a team. Without that ability to work together appropriately, it is very likely that a company or organization will see failure instead of success in its endeavors. Even in times of economic prosperity, it is possible for businesses to fail because the individuals who work in and for them are not all of a cohesive mindset. A visionary and transformational leader will be someone who can get all the employees working with one another in a way that fosters goodwill and value for the future. The visionary transformational leadership model is a big advantage to any business that uses it.
