Generally, vitamins are dietary substance that cannot be manufactured by our body, hence it has to be consumed. It is not energy producing substance but needed in a small quantity in order to help with the metabolic functions of our body. When consumed in the required quantities, it helps to prevent and assist in the associated deficiency diseases. According to vitamin categories, vitamin A belongs to the group of fat soluble vitamins which comprises of Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin K. Vitamin A itself helps in the area of visual system, cell differentiation, maintenance of epithelial tissue, growth of bones and in the accept of reproduction and immunity. Infection which is the major cause of sickness in human beings is the invasion of the body by pathogenic micro-organisms and reproduces causing disease mostly in young children which is due to playing on the ground and touching so many things, lastly putting their hands into the mouth without proper cleaning. Another area where infection is mostly common and transferrable is schools, Day care centers, churches and some other places where children play together without considering that children has a low level of immunity and therefore susceptible to infections faster than adults.
