The death of Julius Caesar was a bitter and gruesome one. He died by the hand of his friend Brutus and his own group of senators who badly mutilated his body. His last words were , “Et Tu Brutus” ? meaning you too Brutus. This was a grave mistake on the part of the assassins because the people of Rome loved Caesar. There were people that thought his death was for the best of Rome, and Then others thought that they people who killed him were wrong for doing so. So when Brutus gave his speech it was to make the slaying of Caesar look good. This was because he made him look bad and hungry for power. Julius Caesar was born into greatness and achieved greatness through great leadership. Despite his arrogance, Caesar was a great leader. He shows his great leadership when refusing the crown, standing on his decision, and putting the people first.
