The decision I made January 21,2011 was clearly not a good choice, and I accept the responsibility for the events that occurred. But now is a time to make a change and to improve my decision making abilities. An event like that really can make a difference in how you approach situations. I could have easily lost a valuable chance at a good education, however I was granted the opportunity to make up for what I did and received a second chance. Every second of everyday people have to make decisions. Whether to turn right or left, or to go to class, decisions have to be made and their effect could be everlasting. One decision that has affected my life in multiples ways was when I changed my major.

This is an example of decision-making that we deal with in our day-to-day life. People make a lot of decisions everyday; starting from the moment you wake up till the moment you sleep. Do I snooze the button or actually wake myself up? Do I make breakfast at home or eat out? These are some of the decisions you make in your day-to-day life. Most of time we make them without even realizing that you are actually making a decision because they are small decisions and do not have a lot of impact if it is the wrong decision. But some of them are so big that it requires a lot of detailed analysis and may even require input of more than one person.
