Water Color Tattoos

Tattoos have changed all throughout the years from the history of them to modern, the jobs you can and can’t have and health risks and the licensing to do tattoos and piercings.

Traditional tattooing was done with a needle, usually made from bone, and a mallet. Tattoos also signified rank in various areas than Hawaii. Traditional tattoos had pictographic representations of humans, animals, plants, etc. Some shapes used in tattoos also resembled environmental aspects. For example, triangles could’ve represented waves, spears, or maybe even mountains.

Doing my senior project I found out that just doodling a Tattoo is difficult because you wouldn’t want it to be flat or too simple, so you have to really but in detail and attempt to put in depth to help your piece come to life even before it’s on skin, What I did was I put in a different color where the bottom area of the tentacle is and tried to do highlighting with some silver to give more depth. My mentor assisted me with ideas also with her Tattoo in general.

Subcultures involve groups of individuals that step away from the mainstream. We can identify these groups through their out of the norm approach to fashion, music choices, lingo and even recreational activities. As a result of this subculture not appealing to the normal look of the “average” person, society fears these such groups. People with tattoos is a subculture that is misunderstood and even feared by many individuals in today’s society. These so called outsiders are out-casted from these norms in society due to fear and lack of knowledge. The aftercare of a tattoo is complex for the first couple of weeks. Getting your body permanently inked with a tattoo is a big life decision. Like any other big step that need certain amount of commitment, tattooing yourself needs to be given a serious thought too. My agurment writing is that kids in school should be able to have their phones. I have a few reasons why we should have our phones in class. One reason is for making videos/recording experiments. If students can’t have their phones the how can they record an experiment, if they can’t record then they can’t get a grade on the experiment. Which makes us students suffer for not being able to have our phones.
