With the way he walked through the office of Watson Advertising, you would think it was just a typical day for Kevin Tanner. He had on a light grey suit, which was his only acquiescence to the warm summer weather; he always had on a full suit and matching pants, along with a white shirt, and a randomly colored - today a dark blue - tie. He was polite and amicable as he walked amongst the 'floor' which was the term for the open cubicle/office environment where some of the grunt work was done. Grunt work being a relative term in this white collar environment; where graphics designers, writers, editors, information technology, internet savants, and low level account managers worked on their tasks. He walked through the area, greeting the …show more content…
He was driven to succeed, but not so reckless as to leave those under him behind.
As he closed the door behind him, a small smile lit his face. If only they knew his secret...he was grateful for the relative privacy of his office, and the monitor facing away from the door as he settled into his desk, deciding he'd check in on a certain email before starting his work day.
Everyone here at the company used the internet for personal reasons. The company policy allowed for it, and even when it was pushed, the unwritten understanding was to not let it interfere with your work. At all.
And even as Kevin was doing this first, he knew damn well that he could get away with it as he opened up his work applications...he wasn't stupid enough to do this from his computer.
Putting his phone on his desk - his personal phone, of course - he quickly opened up the chat application which was commonly used by people to indulged in the same tastes he did. Adult tastes, to be exact, of men and women who exchanged dirty fantasies, chatted, and occasionally got attached enough to give dares and orders to willing parties. Kevin used the same handle on the site and on the chat program, and was known as 'RatherPotent', or to most of his online friends, simply 'RP'.
He chose his partners
Men thus enriched by the dexterity of a leader, would follow of course the chief who was leading them to fortune, and become the zealous instruments of all his enterprises.”
His fatal flaw was his ambition. He reached for unattainable goals even when all the odds were against him, and even when he was given warnings of dire trouble he carried on.
All three people that are being described in my essay have taken on a goal and are willing to do anything to complete it. Ghulam Ali was determined to get across the border even if it meant being caught. Alexander Hamilton was willing to create a strong financial system for America even if people were mad at him. Lastly, Augus wanted to find a beautiful girl and go to great lengths to succeed. However, all three were motivated to risk their life to complete their mission or goal.

If you're using your computer at work, and your company has a stated policy regarding monitoring your use (perhaps even absent that policy, depending on how you read the case law), then you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in anything that you do online using your work computer, whether that's during your work day, after hours, or while traveling. Your company can legitimately "eavesdrop" on anything you do with their equipment, and there's little you can do about it.

Odysseus the Heroic The Odysseus, by Homer, is a story about adventure and courage. The Odysseus creates an atmosphere where it’s all about Odysseus and how he handles the danger. Three questions people have about the Odysseus are: what makes Odysseus an epic hero? What are his qualities and flaws? Why is Odysseus considered an archetype?

The managers and co-workers might think that their employee says or post bad things about them when they get off work. It is appropriate to be on your cell phones while working on a job or either at school. Some jobs just allow them to use their cell phones on break. Mostly all schools doesn’t allow cell phones because the students like to post fights and other negative things that don’t suppose to been said. It’s all about being professional no matter where you work or go to school at. I think most people know what they put on the internet can cause them getting in trouble most of them may not care because they do it on propose.

His reverie was broken hours later by the unmistakle whoosging sound of a message arriving in his inbox on the box. Almost immediately, he was fully alert and his eyes flew open. Aaron scanned the side of the screen, perusing the list of users, then glanced at the screen name that appeared in the box; one that he didn't recognise; before he focussed on the message
In the Hunter/Gatherer section of Omnivore’s Dilemma, Pollan talks about what it takes to accomplish the task of developing a meal on his own; consequently, the people of today’s society are so used to the abundance of food that they have no idea what all is involved in establishing a full meal. Americans take this great abundance of food for granted, which causes an increased craving for more. This is where the world of advertisement has been the strongest. One of the easiest ways to reach people is through their food; therefore, major food industries try to lure people in at all costs just to buy their products. The Fast food industry is the
