INTRODUCTION
Wearable devices for health and fitness keep sprouting in numbers day to day. These devices are used to document fitness and health measurements and are equipped with sensors for motion recognition. However, the numbers of wearable devices for weight lifting exercise or strength training in general, are still low.
PAPER OVERVIEW
In the research paper Wearables, Social Networking and Veracity: The Building Blocks of a Verified Exercise Application by Chiung Ching Ho and Mehdi Sharifi, the numbers of work based on weight lifting exercises are low as compared to work related to motion recognition exercise while according to them these two exercises are equally important.
In weight lifting exercise, the positioning of the wearable
Starting in May, the Apple Watch has garnered much attention. The Apple Watch has the technology to track and store information about the activity of the wearer – it can show a person’s daily activities, such as the amount of time spent sitting, standing, or moving, and it can provide and display goals, suggestions, and incentives for increased activity. The Apple Watch can also collect workout data, such as a person’s heart rate, calories burned, and other exercise –related statistics. Like other i-phones or mobile
After a lengthy negotiation of over 3 years, Canada, the United States, and Mexico reached an agreement on trilateral trade ― the North American Free Trade Agreement. Commonly referred to as NAFTA, it came into effect on the first day of 1994. Covering 450 million of population and reaching $17 trillion in combined GDP, NAFTA proudly ranks the first among the world’s free trade agreements (USTR). It is usually seen as a remarkable success for the countless benefits it brings to its members. Some of NAFTA’s main advantages are promoting closer relationships, eliminating trade barriers, and increasing market opportunities. However, as the first proposer of NAFTA, the United States has indeed benefited the most from it in several different
This research proposal explores scholarly journals, internet articles, and my personal thoughts and ideas on the smartwatch, fitness band, and wearable market segment. I am proposing to obtain research on whether or not the Microsoft Band among other smart wrist wearables are currently and, if so, will continue to be desirable technological advancements in the market.
The first and in my opinion most essential aspect, is whether the wearables would replace doctors or gym instructors. It is due to the massive loss of jobs, most economists fear the wearables. The gadgets or monitors may give you accurate data about yourself but we most have in mind that it requires professional personal
Fitbit is a great wearable device that helps people maintain their health, and it works great as a fitness tracker. “Perhaps you have an autoimmune disease and have been required by your doctor to increase your level of fitness for health reasons. Thankfully, Fitbit is here to help you stay fit and help you with exercise” (5). Before Fitbit, you had to put big wires on your wrist and then exercise to be able to monitor your heart rate or to know how many calories you burnt during the day or work out. But now the monitoring occurs with a small wearable wrist device.
Prior to the introduction of activity tracking devices, individuals who were concerned with weight management or a healthy lifestyle would join gyms. Fitbit has made it possible for people to keep track of their wellness by determining the number of steps one takes, identify sleep patterns, and celebrate exercise milestones accomplished. Fitbit products reduce the time constraint, providing users with instant access to their fitness dashboard either directly from their phones or a computer. Fitbit users find it convenient to use the fitness tracker because it is easily worn around the wrist as an accessory or clipped to a particle of clothing.
You can get a great workout with nothing but the clothes on your back, but the world of fitness is filled with various accessories that help make your workouts even more effective. With so many fitness accessories on the market today, shopping for the right accessories for your routine can be confusing. These accessories are great additions to any weight trainer's exercise regimen, and understanding the various benefits of these items will help you determine the effectiveness of other accessories in the future.
Wearable simulation equipment. Wearable simulation equipment is any equipment applied to the body that is used to simulate the effects of aging. There are many aspects to this equipment. There are six different types of goggles to simulate visual disturbances (unilateral retinal detachment, retinitis pigmentosa, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma). In addition, headphones that simulation auditory disturbances (hearing loss, high frequency hearing loss, dementia related hearing disorders and tinnitus) are also part of the simulation experience. Some other aspects are: a cervical collar to restrict range of motion of the neck, a weighted vest to restrict range of motion of the thorax and

There are devices for almost anything that you’re going to do. When you go running you can bring your phone that will easily track your distance, and some can even tell you how much weight you’ve lost. In the movie Sleep
With flexible wearable technology, doctors do not have to rely on clunky, large equipment. Not only that, doctors are able to download real time information from patients and able to tailor their treatment in a proactive manner rather than a responsive manner. Doctors are also able to monitor patients 24/7. Even if patients have moved back to their home, doctors are also able to monitor them with the medical wearables. By putting patients back to their home, it benefits them as they will be more comfortable with familiar surroundings. This will aid them in better
There are some must have fitness gadgets that can provide accurate information regarding your workouts, and also help you stay motivated at all times, in order to successfully obtain the desired
Fun workouts: Workouts are no more a burden with a fitness tracker. You will yourself desire to walk more and stay fit. The main purpose of a fitness tracker is to motivate a person so that he/she willingly participates in the workout to improve life.
“A ubiquitous motion tracking system using sensors in a personal health device, a ubiquitous motion tracking system that tracks sporting equipment using the sensors installed in an activity monitor was proposed and constructed. The activity monitor with the tracking sensors could be attached to places on the body or on sports equipment to calculate the speed and acceleration of these objects.” (A.Perrig, et.al 2001)
As technology has been continuing to expand everyday, wearable devices have become popular, especially Fitbits and other wearable physical activity trackers. Fitbits have several functions that allow users to keep track of their physical activity. Some of these features include, step counter, floors climbed, sleep tracker, reminders to move, heart rate monitor, and Calorie counter [1]. Fitbit also sends you email reminders and push notifications on your phone to remind you to try and reach your goals. It also allows the user to log their food so they can see if they are burning more calories than they are taking in or vice versa. Fitbit’s battery can last up to five days. This is convenient because the user does not have to charge it every night allowing them to track their quality of sleep. Fitbits motivate people to workout through setting and reaching goals that can be set up personally. Allowing people to
