Weasel Monologue

The rain had just stopped pouring, and we had all gathered in a park nearby, as a makeshift memorial for Johnny. It wasn’t really a funeral, we didn’t have the budget for that, and it wasn’t like his parents cared enough to give him a proper goodbye.

I kept writing. It was hard, but I could get everything off of my chest. I could explain to people what had happened to me. I could tell my English teacher. It was a little hard, but I didn’t cry. I couldn’t cry. Greasers didn’t cry.

This is going to be a long day for me if my boss finds out i’m late.

Amelia's right foot always took the first step, followed by her left. Trees towering over her, a cold breeze blowing through the tree foliage, a gloomy fog sounding her. A defining screech is heard through the relatively soundless forest, Amelia catches a glimpse of bird with feathers black as the darkest night. It glides for branch to branch gradually getting closer. Until it goes in for the final swoop, when it is but a few mere metres away from Amelia, her eyes jolt open and the homily atmosphere of her bedroom fills her senses. It was just a dream, like every night, alas Amelia still couldn't figure out what it meant, but it had to mean something, right?

As we circle each other with our wooden practice swords I take a second to look at my eldest brother. Some people in our village think we are twins because of our piercing blue eyes and our dark curly hair. My brother moves in for a blow to my ribs but I have become quicker than him in my last few months of training and I block him and come at him with my own blow and remove his sword from his hands. He laughs and knows he has lost the fight now so he holds up his hands and pick up his sword.

Today was the worst day of my life. The boys in the bunkhouse decided that my old girl had lived long enough. They took her from me in the night and put her down. There was utter silence for the longest time and then I heard a shot in the distance. I would have happily taken her spot as this world just doesn’t have a lot to offer for me anymore. I knew she was getting old and had trouble getting around but that was my baby. And they just took her away like she didn’t even matter. The boy’s said I could pick any of Slim’s dog’s to replace my old girl, but I don’t think I have the time or the patience. We got a couple new ranch hands today, George and Lennie they seem nice enough, George is definetly the brains of that duo and what Lennie lacks

Have you ever loved someone but couldn’t tell them? Well, that’s how a farm boy, named Westley, felt when he would see his dream girl, Buttercup. Buttercup would see Westley on a normal day-to-day basis. All Westley would say when requested to do something was, “As you wish”. That’s not what he actually meant by that. He actually meant, “I love you”. When Buttercup finally told him, they started talking and planning marriage. The next day, Westley promised to return after a job he had been put to, then he left. Days went by, and Buttercup began to worry. She even told him before he left, “I would be devastated if something happens to you.” Buttercup soon gave up, and assumed that Westley, the love of her life, was dead. However, she wouldn’t be alone for long. After she swore that she would never love again, she got engaged to Prince Humperdinck. However, Westley was far from dead.

As I reached down to pick up the ringlet I heard my mother yell, “Tristyn are you doing your hair without my permission?” I quickly turned off the stove, blew the remainder hair out of the comb, swiped up the grease, folded the cloth over the comb and tucked everything back under the sink. “No mom! I was just wiping of the stove and accidently turned the eye on. The towel got burnt on the eye, so that’s what you smell.” Jeez that lie came out quickly. It was a good one. I was sure my mother wouldn’t even catch me. I had made it! Yes!

Little pigs The huge black hound, with a mangled face and a harrowing grin, gazes across the moonlit moors prowling for a next meal. His coat,dark and patchy barely protecting him from the freezing wind that swirled around him. He took laboured breaths from his ghastly chest. It sniffs the air, through its long pointed snout, for a new prey, a plump little pig.

It was a normal day, I went over to the corner store to get my meals for the week. On the way over I stopped very often to talk to my neighbors and to help some of the older ones, when I got to the store i saw my brother Arnold. he was doing the same thing as me. After I talked to him and when he left I noticed something different about him, he seemed in much more of a hurry than usual and I also saw that he was carrying a magnum which usually the most protection that he would carry was a hunting knife. As I'm walking into this creep hotel I see this very nice old lady knitting. She walks up to me with her cane. She asks me what my name is and I say Billy, what's your name? My name is Dianna now come this way ill give you a room. She gives me a room and all that's in it is a bed and a sink nothing else. She says you can do your own laundry down the hall, but go to bed we leave a curfew.

As Bailey approaches Jaime she exclaimed,” Oh my goodness I wish I could be as on point as you, you always hit every count perfectly. I don’t think I will ever make the team.”

At last someone has seen it inside of me, but how does he know? What is so special about him? Maybe he will destroy the beast and become the hope of the world like my granny told me that I was the hope of us. I never understood but I know I can see that the boy is the only hope of defeating the beast within me. The young priest said that the one with the beast must die to defeat it, maybe that is the boy’s destiny. I feel as if I can drive it back, but is the boy seeing the beast enough to drive it back or is it too late? He isn’t scared of me, he drinks the fear absorbing it as if he has nothing to be frightened of; not even the beast.
