The purpose of this memo is to communicate my efforts and process associated with writing the final assignment.
Motivation Behind Topic
When considering mechanisms and processes to write a proposal about, the one idea that came to my mind was ENGL 313, Rhetorical Website Design. As a former student in that course, who was uninformed the class involved coding, I wanted to make the subject easier for future students. I chose to stick with the topic for the technical description because I genuinely think the small recommendations I offered will help students tremendously. I wanted to make the experience better so participants can be enthusiastic about web design. I wrote with my perspective in mind, reflecting how I would have benefited from

That being said, I took on all the challenging aspects of this course. The most difficult part of writing the technical description was using appropriate language to speak towards my educated audience. For example, choosing whether or not to write a definition, or writing an extension of a technical definition. I also wanted to convey to the audience I was also well-educated in the material I was discussing. I had to find a balance in the language I spoke, which proved to be difficult.
Another struggle was writing learning objectives. I had to research various sources about the reason for them, how to write them effectively, and the levels of thinking that can addressed. I had to shift my mindset from a student to a teacher. I thought, “what are top three outcomes I want my students to achieve by the end of the week.”
Successes
While writing learning objectives was a difficult task, I also found enjoyment out of the process. I delighted in writing realistic expectations that students could visualize for the week. The section I am most proud of is Step 6: Constructing Unit Plan. In this area, all of the steps came to life and put into practice. I reviewed the current class schedule and made adjustments based on what I observed. I evaluated previous class schedules and took elements that provided the clearest communication. I compiled those features and constructed the unit
In my first quarter, I was faced with many difficulties. As a mature student, I had been away from the academic setting for about 17 years, reentering a scholastic atmosphere was a challenge. As a home-schooled student, I faced such challenges as how to function within a structured classroom environment, how to study with deadlines in mind and how to work within a group project setting. Learning to balance the need to study while working was also a challenge.
There are a few things we could have done better in this technical description. The decision to not include visuals was not a smart move. Visuals can help the audience understand the concepts we are describing easier. They can also allow the audience a different way to remember the material they have learned. The large sized text we had in the discussion somewhat function as visuals, but; we could have put more effort in this category by creating images to go along with each step in the process. I created the visuals for the instructions, which were very beneficial to the project.
Sean should type “MEMORANDUM” at the top of the page, for whom the memo, the date, and the subject of the memo. In writing the body of his memo, he should introduce the problem in the first paragraph, and give some context. Also, he should suggest actions that the readers should take seriously and lastly, close with a positive summary. Then, finalize the format of his memo properly, proofread it and hand write initials of his name.
The learning outcomes are important. There has to be a reason on why something is being taught, and how it will be useful to the students future. Throughout the paper, I’m going to give you an example of a lesson plan I
In order to create the lesson plan, the objectives had to be planned first. As per the requirements for the course, I based my learning objectives off of Bloom’s taxonomy with my learning objectives falling under the categories of remembering, understanding,
The Memo will directly address my growth as a writer throughout my time in EH 101-13. It will also highlight my current strengths and weaknesses in my own personal writing style.

During the course of this semester; the variety of writing styles and essays assigned to me in my communication skills class encouraged the development of my writing skills, as well as provided me with more self-assurance in my abilities. My writing, research, and presentation abilities enhanced through practice, determination, and the understanding I gained during this course. With every single writing assignment, I learned new innovative approaches and skills, which enhanced my abilities to improve my thoughts logically, enabling me to write more clearly, and to organize my papers more effectively. At the beginning of this semester; despite the fact that I already knew the terminology MAP: message, audience, purpose; I never really
It is important for my students to understand and value learning goals in the classroom. At the start of every chapter students will be supplied an outline of what they are going to encounter in the upcoming weeks.
We are writing you this letter to explain an analysis of the process we used throughout this semester, as well as an evaluation of how our team worked together.
Team A has been working together to create a list of essential design criteria for evaluating the Berry’s Bug Busters Website, a virtual organization. The team also completed a comparative review of two sites that have similar audience and purpose to the Berry’s Bug Busters Website. The intended audience for this website is people over the age of 18 that find themselves with a pest problem. There are no specific demographics related to the service offered. These two sites are Orkin and FreedomPest, which provide some useful examples of ways to improve upon the curent design of Berry’s Bug Busters Website. The following is the list of design features:

The career that I have chosen to pursue after my first 2 years in college is a career in Web Development. Web Development became very popular in the early 90’s because that is the time that the world wide web was created. The demand for websites and web developers skyrocketed.
