The issue that I will be researching and attempting to change is to limit the amount of weed dispensaries, and make sure to give a cut of the profit to schools or other organizations. I am choosing this issue because in Colorado weed dispensaries are taking over lots of real estate and not helping the community. Mission Statement: If I were to be perfectly successful at changing the amount of weed dispensaries, there would be a limit on the amount of stores selling marijuana and a cut of the profits would go towards schools or other organizations. By having a lot of dispensaries, you are making it easier for kids to get ahold of this drug and its taking up a lot of real estate. This would make Colorado a better place because it will limit

The Tijuana Cartel controls the city of Tijuana on the Baja California/ California border and some of the surrounding areas in the Northwestern part of Mexico. The Port of Entry that has been used to get to and from Mexico and the United States is San Ysidro. It is the busiest border crossing in the world. There have been many drug smugglers that have been arrested and even killed while trying to cross the border. There is even an underground tunnel for drug transporting. The drugs that the Tijuana Cartel is moving are cocaine, marijuana and a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin. Their suppliers are located all over Mexico for all of the drugs that they sell. In my opinion I think if we can get the drug makers and sellers in jail then
The United States Marijuana party is a political party which was founded by Loretta Nall. The United States Marijuana party’s mission is to fight for freedom to both consume and grow marijuana/hemp, stop drug tests for marijuana, and asking to release all prisoners who have been convicted by any charge related to marijuana. From the seed up, the process of growing marijuana can be very hard. There are multiple ways to grow weed. They have what are called grow rooms. They’re different from the dispensaries, they’re in charge of selling the product “legally”. I say that because there are some people who cheat the government and sell pounds under the table unrecorded. Those are the people who ruin their multi million dollar business by getting caught up in there own endeavors. That's why the cops are always raiding dispensaries “illegally”.
As the legal cannabis industry continues gaining momentum as one of the fastest growing markets in the US, cannabis businesses are now facing certain challenges. More and more, lawsuits and claims are being filed for issues ranging from inadequate warning labels, unsafe handling practices, and even wrongful death from ingesting cannabis products. It’s not just the manufacturers or growers of the cannabis products at risk – dispensary owners are also being named in these suits, even if there was no prior knowledge of any defects in the products they were selling.
Dispensaries, larger marijuana factories and corporations are based in larger cities in the Bay area like Oakland. Typically dispensaries are not allowed to profit from so the excess money goes to donations and city improvements. The larger marijuana corporations have more political power than the small grower because of permits and licenses. There is a tension between the two as growers and their towns rely solely on marijuana. Coincidentally, larger marijuana corporations gaining more power and influence, scares local growers of ending their way of life. The competition on marijuana caused the rift between the two especially since marijuana is grown differently. In factories and larger farms marijuana grown indoors look shinier than marijuana grown out doors. Because of
A controversial topic often being advocated for by sitting governors is whether the legalization of marijuana is more beneficial or harmful to the economy. Marijuana, also known as weed, is a mixture of the dried and shredded leaves, stems, seeds, and flowers of the cannabis sativa plant. It’s the most widely used illegal drug in the United States, even though studies have shown results that the benefits of using marijuana for medicinal or recreational reasons far outweigh the negative matters that may be associated with its use. While marijuana is still a controlled substance under federal law, thirteen U.S. states currently have compassionate use laws in place, which allow for regulated medical marijuana use. By legalizing marijuana, the government is helping the economy by reaping medical and financial benefits, not only at the state level, but also at the federal level. Taking into account the numerous studies done with marijuana on whether it is for recreational use or medical purposes, the government cannot go wrong in legalizing marijuana because of such an impact it will have. Marijuana should be legalized for recreational purposes because it will help society economically and socially.
The legalization of recreational marijuana is an important debate, one that could really cause drastic changes in societies. Marijuana has entered a dark stage in the pathway of legalization, and it is correlating with the prohibition stage that alcohol rested in. The debate can often reach a nasty level between individuals taking sides with the topic. Legalization of marijuana can be very beneficial under regulated circumstances, therefore making all of the negative views less important.

How do medical marijuana dispensaries impact the communities around them? Is the result positive or negative? Do they harm or heal? Medical marijuana dispensaries have become more common in today’s world, leaving controversy in their wake. Even though some people believe medical marijuana clinics attract crime, they actually help the communities around them by boosting the economy and benefitting those with medical need.
The illegal marijuana trade in Canada’s British Columbia is a multibillion-dollar industry known by many as the Union. Moreover, Usually, the Union receives upwards of 7 billion in Canadian currency annually. Additionally, those in the Union do not want to see Marijuana Legalized because it will decrease their profits. If marijuana became legalizes they not only would be forced to pay taxes, they would also see a reduction in what people are willing to pay, as well as possibly competing with the government. The union would lose billions of dollars in business and face a possible disintegration of their industry.
The reformation of marijuana laws and the outright federal legalization of marijuana in The United States would extremely
Medical marijuana has been a debatable subject of whether it is safe or harmful to people with serious conditions, such as cancer. To add on to the debate, medical marijuana clinics, or “dispensaries” have been placed in several communities around the United States, causing uproar between the supporters and the non supporters of medical marijuana. Some argue that dispensaries help their community and the economy, while others believe that they will cause trouble in their towns. Although some people strongly believe that putting medical marijuana dispensaries in their cities will be beneficial to the community, medical marijuana clinics are unsafe and not helpful to the communities where they
Marijuana is the people’s drug of choice; it’s the most popular drug of all the drugs. Made famous in movies (Cheech and Chong), hit an all-time boom in the 60’s when smoke to rebel against law enforcement. It is popular even though it is illegal in the United States; I explain in this paper why we should take advantage of its popularity and help our struggling economy. How we can use the way Amsterdam regulates its recreational marijuana, and implement it in the United States. Violence will drop dramatically especially in the towns close to the Mexican border. Marijuana or Cannabis is a hallucinogenic drug that contains a very high amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). It can be used for both medical and recreational reasons, but it is currently illegal in most states in this country. This drug has been illegal for the majority of this country's history, and just recently several states like Washington, California, and New York have passed laws so that people with medical issues are able to consume this drug for their own medical needs
