Weekplan is a weekly planner app with more 300,000 users. It's based on Dr. Stephen Covey’s four quadrant model. Most time management systems are good at helping store the tasks you need to do, but Weekplan is different—it helps you not just prioritize your tasks but also motivates you to do these tasks through daily reminders and notifications. It also allows you to mark tasks as important or urgent. By the end of the week, you can clearly see where you spent most of your time. It even provides quadrant view, goals, a journal, reminders and integration with Google Calendar.

The economy was still coming off of the First World War and tax policies were creating an economic boom with the increase of discretionary income. The United States was in a scary position on what to do after coming home from such a brutal war that was going to end all wars. The young generation brought out the best in people and challenged the intellect of many bright minds that had the solid traditionalist views with the new fast paced modernistic thoughts. A simple calendar scheduling method is just as it sounds. You have a regular, 30/31 day calendar, and just place activities or tasks for each appropriate day. You will then work based on the schedules or deadlines that have been set. You can also indicate the person responsible for the activity. A Gantt chart is essentially a column matrix with two sides. There will be a y-axis and an x-axis. On the y-axis, there will be labels with different activities that need to be accomplished. On the x-axis, labels for the number of weeks will run consecutively. Within the Gantt chart itself, one can color code or even label activities that are completed, incomplete or those that are half-way done. One can also easily identify the current week and check on progress. Most importantly, the length of each bar (activity) shows the estimated needed to complete each activity.
The Weekly Diary is a physical weekly group planner which is kept in the reception area. The coordinators of each sector fill this out for their department every Tuesday at the admin meeting. The main use of the Weekly Diary is to show who will be in and out of the office and when certain rooms are being utilised. The QHC is responsible for relaying the information for the General Manager schedule via personal diaries.

We are all very busy with work and school so sometimes we forget what needs to be done in time, so the daily planner is a very useful tool that helps you remember important events. Every day I update something new on my planner that would keep me updated for the upcoming week or month. For example, when it comes to my studies I have a special section for it and I always put a writing “study an hour in am and pm for English” to look over the materials on the given chapter. It is a great way not to fall behind on your studies and you are much better prepared when it comes on taking the chapter exam. When it comes to work I put the days and hours that I work a head of time so I can be able to figure out the time I have left to spend with my family and time for studying. As I mention before, family time is very important to me so I mostly put on my planer simple family stuff such us having dinner in a certain time, days of going out, or doing different chores, enrolling my son into daily or weekly activities, shopping, or family trips.
My phone helps with reminding me to stay on schedule while I have a weekly calendar on my desk that reminds me of everything I have to do during said week. For my classwork, I look at what I have to accomplish in advance so I can adjust my schedule to the amount of work that week. I take the most urgent stuff and make that my priority before estimating how long each assignment will take. Most days, I give myself extra time so I do not feel rushed in completing an assignment. Before beginning my assignments, I read (or in some cases reread) the necessary material. Occasionally, I will research certain topics in order to a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the material.

Out of all the organization methods demonstrated to students, students which were interviewed, most of the time responded to having a to-do list and planner hybrid. This method appears to be the definitive option because it takes into consideration the monthly calendar method where bigger events in life are mapped out, and it also implements a to do list method where all assignments are listed out and are checked off as an individual progresses through their daily life. Compared to those that had other methods of organization or no tool at all, students with a hybrid plan were often those saying they often had enough time in the day to complete their responsibilities while having an average of 3 hours per day of free time. People do not need to sacrifice their interests for the purpose of performing their responsibilities, but there does need to be a balance and by using a hybrid planner and to-do list planner that balance can possibly be established for

This can assist students who struggle to transition from one activity to another (Meadan, Ostrosky, Triplett, Michna, & Fettig, 2011). They can also be used to help children increase attention on the task and decrease dangerous and disruptive behaviors (Massey & Wheeler, 2000).
