Hello, Muna first I want to start off by commending you for getting back in the saddle to a fitness regime. No, it is not all about looks. I agree when you feel right outside maintaining a healthy weight naturally you feel better inside as well. I began my journey seeking to counter my genetic predisposition to diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. As I became more experienced in exercise, I began to focus on my nutrition which is imperative to wellness. I learned that diet and exercise are a harmonious union. As I concentrated on food intake, I learned that exercise and diet is a lifestyle. Now I believe in sustaining wellness and exercise is an essential competent to living well. Per Barbara Bushman PhD. author of Complete Guide to Fitness at healthy Physical activity and nutrition guidelines for every age wellness is based on our personal experiences and perspective (Bushman 80). Every day I try my best to focus on the physical, mental, social, intellectual, and psychological aspects of wellness. From there as you get more comfortable with your routine you can slowly add and customize your workout plan to fit your needs. One fitness program that cost a minimal amount of money that changed my life is called Supreme 90 day. I began working out 30 minutes once a day, and now I have customized my plan using the DVDs and workout 2 hours a day. The exercises assist in strengthening the body for everyday living activities, stability, and core strength. I cannot say enough about these DVDs I lost the last 60 lbs doing this workout plan. The exercise plan also comes with a meal plan. After five years I still continue to use these DVDs as the foundation of my workout every single day. I just ordered a new set a month ago.
