Where’s the Beef? Since 1969, a pigtailed youth has confirmed that the beef can be found at Wendy’s (“The Wendy’s Story”). Although this fast food burger chain was founded much later than many of its competitors, it has had national success. To taste their iconic frosty’s, the nearest Valencia County location is 1860 Main St NW, Los Lunas, NM 87031. However, they are also located in all 50 states and in 30 countries (“Wendy’s Around the World”). According to recent surveys, the American people want quality fast food ("Report: Americans Want Better Quality Food”). The better the quality of food, the more customers a restaurant will get and Wendy’s is stepping up to the plate. From crisp salads to juicy burgers, Wendy’s is fulfilling this demand. In addition, the Los Lunas location is doing an excellent job in producing high quality food; the baked potatoes are large and tender, the frosty’s are uniform in their texture, and the burgers are rich with flavor. To further support this claim, here is a review from Trip Advisor,” This is fast food - no doubt about that, but it is not as greasy as McDonald's and the food is much fresher. Their hamburgers look and taste like hamburgers should -- not like greasy little patties that have been sitting under a heat lamp. Wendy's is great because it offers things on its menu that other fast food places don't -- like chili and baked potatoes…If you have to go the route of fast food, this chain is one of the better ones and the variety will please everyone in your family” (CleverCat). Overall, Wendy’s is measuring up the desire for high quality food at the fast-food
Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. Over six decades ago, an adventurous and determined entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customer couldn't help but exclaim. A burger restaurant should be clean and have a fresh food. First, people try many restaurants, but sometimes if they like something, they will keep going to same restaurant even if wasn’t that good, but they used to like it form the begging.
Business Insider.com says that the Wendy's chicken sandwich is a ripoff of the Chick Fil A chicken sandwich that we all know and love. “There’s only one word that fits to describe Chick-fil-A’s food: heavenly. The chicken is savory and crispy, and the sweet bun and juicy pickles that typically come with the classic chicken sandwich add to the fresh, satisfying taste. Many people like all kinds of different fast food, but Chick-fil-A’s food is better than all of them and is definitely healthier than places like McDonald’s, Wendy's, and Burger King.” This is from thejournalwired.com.
It all started with a man by the name of George McKerrow Jr, who had a passion for delicious steaks. Luckily he had a snowstorm hit his hometown in Atlanta, Georgia that brought stranded motorist into the only hospitable place available- a restaurant called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant & Saloon. The tales of the expertly grilled steak was spread like a wildfire throughout the towns. This was the beginning of a new chain restaurant called LongHorn Steakhouse, which is known for their Flo’s Filet and the Bone-In Outlaw, fall of the bone ribs, and hand cut salmon. In later years, LongHorn eventually joined Darden Restaurants with Olive Garden and Red Lobster. With a location in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, it is one of many steakhouses that you can choose from. It is a well-organized restaurant that has been serving steak, chicken, and fish for 30 years where the meat is never frozen. In addition to that, it is the only steakhouse that catches the eyes of the customer, usually from the dark red lights that light up during the night. The restaurant is opened Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday to Saturday 11:00 to 11:00 PM.
Throughout all of human history, mankind has searched for the ultimate food. To our enjoyment, in 1950, the world was given the answer: Whataburger. Whataburger has taken the hearts of Americans by storm by by serving classic southern style burgers, fries, and shakes. Despite it’s humble beginnings in Corpus Christi, the franchise now boasts over 750 locations and has even secured the 2016 title of “Best Burger in America”. In an effort to understand why this small burger chain became so successful evaluating this legendary business in three different aspects: price, quality, and customer service.
What do you typically order when dining at McDonald’s or Wendy’s? When I am having a meal from either place, my favorite choice is a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and extra mayo. Sometimes, I may make it a combo and enjoy the greasy, salty french fries and an ice cold soft drink. Most of their customers often purchase the unhealthiest options because they feel as if that is what fast food is all about, right? Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. Fast food can be convenient and nutritious. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both fast food restaurants, so they are alike in many
In the history of fast food chains, In-N-Out began as a small joint and quickly developed through the years into a global phenomenon, attracting people ranging from celebrities to tourists from around the world, making itself distinct from the other average burger joints. According to the In-N-Out website, Harry and Esther Snyder first opened its doors in 1948 and “served the freshest burgers, coolest shakes and the hottest fries in a friendly, sparkling-clean atmosphere and has kept the menu the same till present year 2017”(In-N-Out). Keeping a relatively simple menu has allowed this burger joint to attract more customers by focusing solely on perfecting their food. The current stores, having followed Harry Snyder’s philosophy, “keep it real simple, do one thing and do it the best you can” has
When the consumer has been served a days worth of calories in a meal that has probably over 1500 calories, and the cost of the meal is probably five dollars while eating at the establishment few times a week the consumer is at risk for many health issues. McDonalds adds many additives, sugar and salt to make their food tasty. Many health issues arise such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. With McDonalds not buying meat from the US, changing out oils, adding sugar and salt is a recipe for a failing restaurant when Americans are eating healthier, wanting more organic choices. and care what is going into their bodies and their children’s bodies. Restaurants like Chick-Fil-A are serving many healthy choices to choose from. The
“You haven’t been to Chuy’s? You need to go!”, the question the Minnesotan now living in the heart of Texas heard plenty of times during the first week of moving in. Just driving down one road in Waco, a copious amount of Tex-Mex restaurants can be seen, and I was curious about what made Chuy’s the one I needed to go to. It was obvious there was only one way to find out. Before jumping in the car, I knew that I needed to have a variety of standards that I was looking for so I could answer my question. In order to full compare Chuy’s to the many other surrounding restaurants, I established the following criteria: authentic tasting Tex-Mex food; friendly, yet efficient service; and a creative, original, and fitting atmosphere.
When you crave for a big juicy hamburger, you have to go to Portillos. Hamburger have been around for years, but no one makes them as good as Portillo's. The burger are so crispy and juicy. With lettuce and tomato it evens out for the grease, so go ahead knock yourself out. You would think it take 20 minutes to make a hamburger this good, wrong it takes 5 to 10 minutes to make it. Whenever I go to Portillo's I always get the hamburger, I don't even look at the menu anymore I just go straight to the hamburger. Everytime I get the hamburger it tastes better and better every time. The price of the Burger is cheaper than you expect, it cost 7 to 8 dollars. With a price as good as that you can't resist
(1) Wendy’s was able to achieve its initial success and grow so rapidly at a time when the quick service hamburger business appeared to be saturated because Wendy’s chose a strategic plan of targeting a different segment of the hamburger market, young adults and adults. Dave Thomas’s idea of an “old fashioned” hamburger allowed Wendy’s to differentiate from the competitors. The hamburger itself is made from fresh beef that is cooked to order and served directly from the grill to the customer. It is done this way to allow the customer to see what they are ordering. Allowing customers the opportunity to see the cooking process gains a certain level of comfort between the customer and the restaurant. “Old fashioned” hamburgers are square in
While McDonald’s and Burger King have fought over a percentage of the same market share, each company has a unique strategy with which they’ve approached the market. McDonald’s aims to deliver an inexpensive, standard, quality meal with high level of uniformity both in burger structure and in delivery times. Burger King also strives for an inexpensive, quality meal, but focuses on allowing the customer a degree of flexibility in the menu – a goal reflected in their long-time slogan, “Have it your way.” This difference results in distinct objectives for each restaurant that resonate
In-N-Out Burger is a fast food restaurant chain with more than 300 locations across the five states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas. It is one of the most popular fast food restaurants in the American Southwest, and preferred by a lot of people. The restaurants interior has a 1950’s burger joint appeal to it with its checkered floor, framed pictures of 57 Chevys and tiled walls. In-N-Out Burger is widely known for their simplistic menu, which consists solely of hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes. There are no words that can truly describe my love for In-N-Out. This is my favorite “go-to” restaurant because they offer quality, freshness, and excellent customer service.
Wendy’s is the third largest hamburger chain and their target market is 24-49 year olds. Wendy’s serve high quality premium (meat never frozen), better tasting old fashioned burgers (burger patty is square which is unique to other hamburger restaurants). The drive through stay open late for late night dining and individual who want fast food but who choose to dine in find that Wendy’s dining room has a home style appeal. Individual seeking a cheap meal can be found on Wendy’s 99 cents menu.
Even though McDonald’s and Burger King are really similar, they are also really different. They both try to have good advertising but McDonald’s is, most of the time, ahead. Their food seems to have the same condiments, but again, they are far away to be the same. They appear as the two most famous fast food restaurants around the world, but each one of them has their own
